“Keep my commandments and live,
“And my commandments as the apple of your eye;

“Say to Wisdom ‘you are my sister!’ Call Understanding, ‘Friend!’”

In Near Eastern fashion, this piece is a part of the bridal imagery at the heart of Solomons teaching. Wisdom and Understanding are in a place of Divine Union. By writing Adonai’s commandments on our hearts and calling the Holy Couple sister and brother we are bringing them into our hearts. We are stepping into relationship with them. It’s the Divine Union between the three supernals of the higher plane and the seat of our soul.
