Today, my blog is turning 4 years old!
I ventured into the Writeblr community for the first time on October 26th, 2018. Previously, this blog existed as a place to store writing advice that I wanted to reblog and hold onto, and I decided to check out the actual writing community on a whim to have support during Nanowrimo. (Spoiler alert: I wrote exactly 30 words and that was it). Although my Nanowrimo goals were very obviously not met, little did I know that I would find an amazing little internet home.
I created this blog since I was feeling lonely and isolated, and the amount of support, friendship and community that I found here gave me something to look forward to everyday. The people that I've met here have been so lovely, and I'm very excited to have gotten to know you before you become famous, bestselling authors.
I haven't really been present or active in the past two years. I've barely had a chance to catch up with what's happening here, keep up with all of the cool projects or meet the new talented people that are joining the community. However, just knowing that this blog exists, and having people welcome me back with open arms whenever I peek in has been so incredibly comforting.
To everyone who knows me, and also to everyone who doesn't: Thank you all so much for being here! Being a part of this community and sharing this space with you has been an honor and a privilege.

Big life changes since I've first started my writeblr:
Started legally drinking on occasion
Graduated with my Bachelor's degree
Graduated with my Master's degree
Became a licensed professional
Started my first real adult job
Met my writing partner in person for the first time after 7 years
Learned how to conquer writer's block, and stop hating my writing
Started writing smut sometimes
Got significantly older
Got wiser? (probably)
Thank you for an incredible 4 years! Here's hoping that I'll see you for the 5th one.
