Chocolate chip cookies: What's your favorite part of the drafting process?
Oh hello!!!
Probably my favorite part is just writing the scene, knowing that if it does not feel right first time around, I can re-work it. You also have these ideas and you want to jot or type them down on the page. Whether planned or not, it is also having fun experimenting within your story. It is a wild ride, after all.

Getting to the scenes that inspired the work to begin with!
I might have started "eating dessert first" and writing those scenes to start...gotta strike while the iron is hot, after all! It's also fun to see how they come together as I weave the connective tissue in, and how much they change or don't depending on the new context of the wider story around them.

Cake: How does your character celebrate? Could be for holidays, special events, or general celebration when they are excited/happy?
I think I'm just going to be answering all of these with the WIP of mine that's been consuming my thoughts lately, lol. So here's another one for "Belonging to Nightmares"!
So, Minna doesn't celebrate her birthday. She wanted to, but after she turned 13, her father claimed that she and her sisters were now too old for such "frivolous" things. Holidays were the same way.
Kyrie, on the other hand, always had small quiet celebrations with her parents and two younger siblings. Nothing elaborate since they had money troubles, but they had each other and Kyrie helped make the best of it for her siblings if their parents had to work those days.
When she found out Minna wasn't allowed to celebrate her birthday, she offered to share her own, since they were born a year and a week apart. She also invited Minna and their friends to join in their simple holiday celebrations together as they got older, but "their" birthday was special just for the two of them the older they got until they were separated.
