I’ve been creating stories ever since I can remember (my first stories were saved to floppy disks). I have so many stories inside of me that need to be told. My first writeblr was deleted (pretty much the same url, and it was brand new too) and I’m unsure how to rewrite this intro but uhhh I’m in my 30s, I’m neurodivergent and queer. You can call me Fey, Tama, or Lumi. I have always loved fantasy, but I want to branch out into other genres too. My favorite authors are JRR Tolkien, Jane Austen, Maggie Stiefvater, and Tamora Pierce. This blog will be a mix of my writing, things I find inspiring, literature analysis, poetry bits, etc. (but I’m shy about posting my writing) btw I like to talk a lot in the tags~

A Knight’s Tale

Long ago, humans crash landed on the planet of Wostria. Thousands of years later, the last free human kingdom in the land of the elves is under attack. The princess is rescued and travels far away with the expectation that they’ll come back someday to reclaim their homeland. Once away from everything familiar to them, they realized they’d rather be a prince than a princess. Currently at the academy for knights, Nettle has their first experience on the field and is horrified by what they saw. Will they stay true to themself or accomplish what is expected of them?

The Injustice of Mhorgun

The opening ball of the season was swarmed with undead. Four people are sent to investigate how and why they were able to get so close to the city on that night, some prepared and some completely not. What they found tumbled them into a quest beyond their reckoning. Is any of what they were taught by the church true? Each of them must balance this new mystery with the social obligations of the season and the expectations that their family has placed upon them.

Legendary Warriors

Adrian Zoleta is your average college student, but his world completely changed the day Ignatius, an alien from another planet, appeared in his life. They were attacked by a monster made from evil magic + pollution which caused them to transform and become the legendary warriors! Together the two must find and protect the rest of the legendary stones from the villainous dragons who are corrupting the earth with their greed.

hi! i’ve been lurcking for the longest time, never quite daring to make a proper writeblr, so! here goes.

hum-hum. let me introduce myself. my name is doriane, i’m a 22 yo archaeology student (yay!), a professional procrastinator and living vicariously through my sim. also, i’m french. eh. i write! fantasy, sci-fi, horror. i read everything.

Do you have any tips on writing a self introduction? I want to start my blog properly but I have no clue on what to say.

you know what, I do have an advice post about this but I can’t find it either so here’s some suggestions for content:

a graphic to draw attention!

your name (or codename ;P), age, pronouns, etc.

what you like to write! a brief list of your favourites tropes and genres and/or projects you’re already planning to work on --> try to polish these a little to encourage people to follow you for this content!

any other writeblr content you intend to make: advice posts, memes, community support, etc. (note, this isn’t necessary if you don’t plan on doing any of this!)

tag some of your favourite writeblrs --> this is the only time where it’s appropriate to tag a list of writeblrs and that can really help get your post out into the community, so make the most of it!

have a look around at some other recent writeblr intro posts and see what the trends are leaning towards these days! they’ve got a lot longer and better laid out since I last made one (and they didn’t exist at all when I started here) so it always helps to see what the favoured style at the minute is to give you ideas <3

~ A Writeblr Introduction

Hey there! I’m Jill. I recently stumbled into writeblr and am so incredibly happy I did. It’s amazing to see others writing and struggling and inspiring. I love it!! So, I figured I’d make my own. I’ve been writing since my mom forced me into a writing camp when I was 12, so why not try it out?

~ About me ~

—> Just graduated highschool and plan to attend college for occupational therapy. If I’m lucky, I can go on to get my doctorate. My goal is to move to Seattle and become a Neonatal OT who writes books on the side!

—> I love to read, write, sing and journal. Basically anything creative. Coffee, netflix, and my dog give me a reason to breathe.

~ About my Writing ~

—> I don’t want to choose just one genre due to my age, so I’m kind of jumping around.

—> I’ve already finished a (kind of) final draft of a YA romance and posted it on Wattpad (Leather Jackets are Mandatory by JillianSegina).

—> Right now my current wip is a werewolf fantasy about love, family and most importantly rebellion. It’s titled Gemini and I plan to post an introduction for that soon!

—> Next I either want to work on a dystopian series (think darkest minds but spies; basically kids with powers and a corrupt government. What could be better?) Or a series about an academy for the gifted (think Harry Potter/Legacies/Carry on). I can’t decide, mostly because I have way too many other stories I want to work on as well, most different genres.

writeblr intro !!

hi, everyone! I made this writeblr about a month ago and have been reblogging the odd post here and there, too scared to interact w anyone. But now I want to be more social and push myself to write more, so figured actually engaging in the writeblr community might help to create lasting momentum (fingers crossed, anyway)

so, about me.

my name’s red, i’m 21 years old, from the north of england, and i'm a gemini sun, aquarius moon and cancer ascendant if that means anything to you. I’m currently working as a bookseller and have a place to study fashion design at university in 2021.

so far in life I’ve completed a couple of poems and short stories but one of my goals is definitely to increase my output lmao. I love film and have a screenplay wip, as well as two novel wips and at least four other undeveloped story ideas floating around my head at all times. 

I write ya/na/crossover fiction, mostly in contemporary settings but I've recently discovered a love of historical fiction so one of my current wips is in that genre.

what am I writing?

uncovering the sun: part one in a four part series. it’s set in a dystopian era where radiation has destroyed the world. it explores the idea of a propoganda war and utilitarian methods to ensure humanity’s surivival

the valley of death (subject to change): a fantasy standalone that follows three different people trying to stop magic from dying. it explores the idea of regaining one’s lost childhood and the importance of support systems.

I will also be promoting some of my fanfiction on this blog, but I really wanna use this writeblr to focus on my original works.

☆ a writeblr (re)introduction ☆

I joined writeblr a couple years ago now after making a huge life change, and the community here has been amazing! But sometimes I wish I'd share more of my own writing and passions, since I've always been pretty private. I'd like to make myself more accountable in the community in order to finish my draft of my current project in the next couple months. So, here's a little about me and my main project!

☆about me:

My name is Cait (but Babs works fine too, since my url isn't going anywhere)

I write science fiction, fantasy, and horror! Esp love merging these things together.

I've worked on more or less the same project for a little over a year (which STILL doesn't have a real title, bc naming things is the bane of my existence-- That's you, Scary Magic Biker Novel).

I want to write novels, but I'm also interested in all kinds of storytelling & want to learn screenwriting and write a screenplay this year!

☆my main project (working title: Scary Magic Biker Novel)

A race across unpredictable desert wilds might be the best chance to save the last city on earth from being consumed by mysterious (magical) forces, as the rest of the world already has. But the real darkness may turn out to be the secrets kept within the city itself, and the stories told about the past...

☆ features/ themes: girls on motorcycles, healing from trauma, discovering potential, a wlw protagonist, desert cryptids, found family, rebirth, mysterious magics, the apocolypse happened like 200 yrs ago, etc.

Anyway, looking forward to talking more with y'all about your wips going forward and hopefully getting yelled at to go write will make me finish my novel (sobs).
