Even when I was just a young girl, I understood that goodbyes aren't for everyone. People will leave you at times without one wondering what you could have done differently. Were you not worth a single word, or your feelings being acknowledged? Even in times, you didn't receive one remember that this may help you become stronger, wiser, and more careful with who you let into your life. You are worth so much, and keep in mind maybe that goodbye was just too difficult for them to say to you. If it is hard to leave a bad habit, put your hand close to your chest and say to yourself, O heart I will leave this bad habit because Allah doesn't like it and it is not healthy for you. O heart I will leave this bad habit for the sake of Allah. Habits are not innate characteristics rather they become a routine of behaviour if you do something regularly. Losing our temper when people aren't cooperating—Actually this is a habit. I recall those earlier days when I entered the workforce, I used to be so zen. Confronted with difficult people & situations and I would still be in my zen mode. Then I picked up the habit of complaining when the same group of people did not cooperate. These days, I am practising that I try to leave this bad habit. What are your bad habits? We know ourselves, and this time round we have to commit to leave them. So insha Allah, let's leave them for the sake of Allah. May Allah ease all your affairs and make things easy for you. Whatever hardship you may face—sickness, poverty, career, loss—remember that there is only one God and He is the Disposer of all Affairs. So seek Him. Find Him. Leave everything and walk towards Him. He'll pick you up and help you in ways you will never imagine.
