I'm having a death stroke guys...
My Brain: New story idea! Must write now!
Me: Okay... uhm, what's the plot..?
My Brain: HMMM, plot? No, no, no, none of that here, my good friend, my good sir, my good ma'am, but may I offer you an overall general Vibe, an aesthetic if you will, a vague feeling to convey, a-
Me: *mumbling* Ah, sh*t. Here we go again...
Happy storyteller Saturday! What is your favourite type of character/character archetype/character trope to write? -writeouswriter
Thanks @writeouswriter !
I love to write sarcastic grumpy characters paired with rays of sunshine; I have at least two pairs that fit this super well and two others that fit it loosely.
If you have a taglist, may I ask for my writeblr @writeouswriter to be added to one for The Sole Project and The Tree Series? They sound incredible!
Thank you so much! I will add you ASAP!
Happy Storyteller Saturday! I want to know, what are the vibes or kind of aesthetics you associate with your WIP? -writeouswriter
@writeouswriter thank you!
The SOLE Project is harsh white tile, fluorescent lights, the smell of alcohol in disinfectant, a stormy sea, glaciers, the feeling of being out of breath, running with your friends beside you. Desperation.
Lies in a Holy Tongue is bright white light, and gold lining on architecture, feathers, clothes. It’s the clean smell of vanilla and caramel, a cautious trust and a tentative touch of hands and a small seed of hope that blooms into the confidence you’re fighting for the right thing.
The TREE Series is a sense of wonder mixed with the determination to help as many people as you can. It’s good soil and earnest questions and the sound of a keyboard typing. It’s discovery and old books and a starry night.
