remus: i don’t know. i normally can’t. i’m not usually the best with words, but around you, it’s different. i guess you’re just inspiring. a muse often is.

Le Douce Magic
#9 So, this one is really silly but I couldn’t get it out of my head. Hope you like it ;)
Le Douce is the new sensation of London, not only because of it’s finery in making the most delicious sweets or for being the Royal Family supplier of sweets, or because the Princess of Cambridge was seeing eating one of their main desserts a very chocolatey brownie, or for being located on Soho, taking residence in a beautiful small building with flowers at the windows or their chocolate section with chocolate covered treats with exotic flavours or for it’s famous costumers or even the self service buffet the main reasons why people queued at the Le Douce’s front the first one being the fame of its sweets being magical.
If someone eat the chocolate and pink pepper truffle, they would feel a little warmth on their insides and a little bubbly like they were in love. The hot chocolate with cinnamon and a dash of ginger would make one feel all the happiness in whole London. The strawberry and tangerine cream tartelet bar made all the good vibes and lucky stuck around. The second reason is the beauty of it’s chef and owner Sirius Black.
Not that the renowned fiction writer believed in that. In the sweets being magical, he loved them and sometimes would even order a box to be delivered on his flat but Remus certainly did not believed in that. Even though he wrote about magical worlds and creatures on his books. It was almost Christmas, the day pleasantly cold and grey, Teddy pulling him by the hand towards the store.
‘Come on daddy!!’ Teddy Lupin said excitedly pointing to the place making Remus smile fondly at his six year old son.
‘Teddy love, please calm down or you’ll make both of us trip’ He said to his son, gently picking the five years old boy on his arm, to enter the store. Thankfully, because of the weather the place wasn’t so crowded, so they could move easily through the small bunch of people.
‘Daddy..’ Teddy said amazed with so much sweets and cakes, and at least five types of brownie in front of him. The boy squealed in happiness, attracting a little of attention ‘I want all of them !! People say they are magical!!!’
‘All of them Teddy ? Isn’t it too much ?’ Remus teased a little, putting the boy on the floor and giving him a box and helping him to take the sweets he liked, three of each because Teddy and him would get high in chocolate and sweets finery later that day. They were having too much fun choosing the chocolate bombs, when two girls stopped them and asked Remus for a selfie and a little discussion of his latest book, before he could do it, he asked Teddy to go to choose for them a big delicious piece of chocolate brownie fudge. The boy nodded and almost run to the chocolate section.

Sirius Black was truly intrigued by a little blonde boy with fading pink hair dye on it, wearing a small navy blue coat that was trying to get a piece of brownie, so he stepped in to help the little boy.
‘Having trouble there, mate ?’ The boy looked at him with wide eyes, then nodded, Sirius cut a piece of brownie and put it on Teddy’s box ‘Nice hair you have there. Was your mummy who dyed it for you ?’
‘No...my daddy did’ Teddy answered ‘Can I have another piece, please?’
‘Sure ! So, your mummy didn’t complained ?’ The man insisted, giggling a little more when the boy asked for one more piece of cake.
‘Mummy’s a star now’
‘Oh...’ Sirius said, poor boy his heart clenched a little ‘So your father is really nice, then...’ the boy almost gleamed and started to talk about his father and how important he is.
‘My daddy was at Sesame Street last week!’ The boy said proudly while he eats a cookie offered by Sirius, that by now was really curious about the man and a little fond of the boy. He loved kids. He has a godson, Harry, almost Teddy’s age.
‘So your dad is pretty important’
‘He writes books...You should teach me how to do these cookies, so I can make them with my dad’ Sirius laughed and talked a little more with the boy when he saw, his newest favourite writer coming their way. He felt his heart beat speed up a little, the man was even more handsome than he thought. Handsome was understatement. Remus Lupin is absolutely perfect. Those amber eyes, made Sirius go absolutely mad.
‘Hey, Teddy!!!’ Remus said ‘Were you giving trouble to Mr.Black ?’ Oh God, the man knew his name.
‘No daddy...’ the boy answered.
‘Are you his father?’ Remus nodded with a shy smile, even watching all the man’s interviews and already knew it, seeing it live made Sirius’ knees go weak ‘I’m huge fan of your work Mr. Lupin...’ he babbled a little making the man blush softly and give other shy smile.
‘I’m a huge fan of your work too, Mr. Black’ How come the man bought his sweets and he did not bloody know anything about it? Oh Lord....
‘I didn’t know you were a costumer’
‘Oh, most times I ask for the delivery and you know...’ Both stared at each other for a moment in a kind of awkward silence then giggled. Forty five minutes later, Remus noticed that Teddy was too quiet and let out something like a groan, the boy had eat almost all of the sugary treats on their box ‘Great ! Now he isn’t not going to even dinner... and I don’t have any sweets left’
Sirius bit his lip and gently offered to fill a box of finery himself.
‘How much do I owe you Mr.Black ?’ Remus asked, reaching for his wallet, Teddy on his arms murmuring that his tummy was aching.
‘Please call me, Sirius and is on the house’ Remus blushed again and said next :
‘Please, let me pay it for you even if it’s a book’
‘Daddy you should invite Mr. Black to dinner, so he can teach us to do the cookies...’ Teddy said with excitement and stared at Sirius ‘....You know my daddy kisses boys and you are a boy !!’
‘Teddy!!’ Remus exclaimed mortified. Now his son had just embarrassed him in front of the most handsome man he ever saw ‘Pardon Teddy...’
‘Ah no problem, Teddy...I like to kiss boys too’ Sirius winked at both of them ‘and a dinner would be lovely’
They exchanged numbers and said goodbye to each other. After Remus left, he couldn’t help but think that Le Douce’s sweets were actually magical.
