Asking for feedback is nerve-racking. Your book is your book baby, and it’s scary to put it into the hands of another person to critique, edit and analyze. However, I’ve found that taking a step back to let another person read your work can help you make the necessary tweaks that can advance your book into the hands of readers! 🖤 I think of writing a book similar to putting together a puzzle. With every chapter you write, the pieces of the puzzle come together to create a clearer picture. However, all the pieces of the puzzle aren’t in place when you finish writing your draft. A bunch of pieces are still scattered on the side. The puzzle comes together during the editing process.
