For #igwritersoct day 17, Writer Secrets, I’ve thought for a while about some super secret tidbit that I could share. But after seven years of writing and studying the craft and business I’ve come to realize something: There are no secrets. There’s no special formula, there’s no “correct” path to success. If you have a question about something, there are dozens of people you can ask to get brilliant advice. As long as you’re a decent, compassionate person who pays attention and is willing to make mistakes and listen and learn, you’ll be alright.
