Write to: My Future Self (The One With the Dot)
If you’re reading this now, it means you made it. You finally reached the dream that once felt so far, so heavy, and so uncertain.
I hope you remember this version of you, the one who clapped for others while quietly holding back tears, the one who waited while timelines moved without you, the one who trusted Allah even when the path felt lonely and unsupported.
Do you remember January 7, 2026? The day the world celebrated lawyers and you celebrated hope. The day you chose faith over frustration, patience over pressure, and trust over comparison.
I hope you didn’t forget how many times you almost doubted yourself how many times you were told “hindi pa,” how many times doors stayed closed when you were ready to knock.
But Allah knew when to open them.
If you’re wearing the dot now, wear it with humility. Let it remind you that delay was part of the preparation. That the struggle shaped you more than the success ever could.
And if you ever feel proud—pause. Remember the nights you prayed with nothing but sincerity. Remember the days you moved forward even without support. Remember that you didn’t arrive here alone, Allah carried you.
To my future self: Never look down on those who are still waiting. Be the support you once needed. Be proof that dreams written by Allah always arrive, right on time.
This was never about being first. It was always about being ready.
With faith, Your past self —still becoming, still trusting, still believing In Shaa Allah. 🌙✨
