Hi everyone! Kayce here!

About a week ago, I graduated from my master's program in English language and literature and am out of work until the fall semester. (I had a contract writing gig lined up, but because I am no longer a student of the university, they were not able to hire me like intended). For this reason, I am returning to fiverr to offer my beta reading and editing services!

If you are working on a piece of short fiction, whether it be fanfiction, or original work, I would love to offer my feedback. As a beta-reader, I can help you identify the strengths in your writing, plot structure, character development, and offer my advice on where things feel weakest. Last summer, I had the opportunity to work with some wonderful budding writers, one of which later went on to self-publish his work!

If you're working on an essay, blog post, personal statement, or other type of copy, I would love to help with editing and revising! As a college writing instructor, it is my greatest passion in life to help writers revise and polish their work into its greatest form, and I can help you do just that! Although I am happy to help with proofreading and line-editing, my real focus is to help you become a better writer through coaching -- identifying your strengths, weaknesses, and lay the groundwork for clearer, more effective writing.

I’m gonna talk a bit about  my drabbles in general, bcs it’s most of the fanfic I’ve been writing lately. Basically, I like them a lot bcs they give the satisfaction of finishing something more or less quickly + the challenge of writing a whole scene in a small amount of words. I mean, I write small stuff in RP on Twitter, so it’s not about the word count itself, but doing the whole scene at once instead of part of it.

Also, I haven’t done long fic/multi-chapter appart from drabbles in a long time, but kinda trying to put together a few thingies about Maya and Angel bonding, and I really wanna see how it turns out in the end.
