it’s been months and i still can’t get over how much of a nothing character claire was. they built her up so much in the show and she’s just the blandest vague idea of a teenager. and then she comes in with the therapy speak for some reason?? am i wrong saying claire was a complex character in s1? like she was abused by her mother (im not an allison op but this is a fact) in an extremely specific way that no person can ever relate to. with superpowers. what would it be like to not know your own mind and wonder if it’s just something your mom implanted in your head?? she still loves her mom!!!!! she grew up in the public eye with her parents messy divorce in tabloids and shit? ofc nothing even matters in s4 but like. there was so much there. ok girl give us nothing

grace hargreeves the robot mom is so fucking tragic to me. how long did it take for reginald to alter her code so she wouldn’t pull the covers up for an empty bed, or set a place for a seat with no one in it. did she pause to count a child who isn’t there.

my dash is inspiring me; we should just make up some fucking batshit theories for s4 and run with them. i’ll go first:

- viktor and diego make the prime 8s (idk if it’s canon to the show) and defeat reginald with the power of music, team zero style, for the final battle. everyone plays dif instruments. think battle of the bands.

- in the middle of the season, brellie ben has an interlude where he picks up all of the characters that Deserved Better (imo) from the afterlife (eudora, dave, stanley, hazel, robot grace, etc) and they come back through some portal thing relating to the horror and fight in the final battle.

- brellie ben and sparrow ben Fucking Hate Each Other. everyone else thinks it’s hilarious. they keep jinxing each other. “STOP COPYING ME!”

- they recreate the spider-man meme

- at some point there are like 8 versions of five from different points in his life and they are all fighting each other.

- they also recreate the spider-man meme

- that or they just sit down and have tea and play cards. and everyone’s like ???

- lila and sloane have a girls night and blood is shed.

- raymond chestnut gets a gun.

- stanley comes back through the whole ben thing and he is an adult now. he gets a gun.

- CLAIRE!!!! gets .. a gun..?

- somebody’s gotta be doing some gay shit somewhere. or someone has a companion with lots of homoerotic vibes. somebody dies.

-timeloop episode where it’s as fucked up as the day that wasn’t. klaus is involved. allison is also involved. they think they break it at the end of the episode but then the start of the next episode they’re still in it. the audience is only somewhat aware of the mechanics.

- they get their powers back but they’re all swapped, ensue shenanigans.

what? oh nothing, just thinking about how tua: young blood showed that the 43 used their powers so naturally and it was just an instinct to them. it was part of them as long as they existed.

i think my favorite thing about the tua fandom is that everyone always talks about how so many people watch the show but it feels like there are like 25 active members of the fandom (at least on tumblr). yet the thing that gets me is the people who are still in the trenches, posting five x reader fics. they will never stop. there is no ending their crusade. it’s a constant brigade. i scroll through a tag and every ten posts it’s one of them. how. no matter how small this fandom is, they will always be there. watching. and writing y/n fics.

how did they lose their first teeth? tua headcanons

luther- tried to make an airplane out of a cardboard box + blankets and knocked it out upon landing

diego- got luther to do the door/string thing because he thought it would be cool, but ended up losing one more tooth than he bargained for because luther pulled the door of its hinges and he flew forwards onto the floor

allison- had a cavity so bad she had to get it pulled by grace. cried the whole time. it got so bad because she kept rumoring people to get out of brushing her teeth

klaus- slipped on the hardwood floors while running down the hallway in socks while wearing one of grace’s fancy hats that covered his eyes bc he was playing dress up. face planted into the doorframe

five- felt it wiggle a little bit, and was so bothered by the feeling that he wrenched it repeatedly for days until it came out

ben- another victim of the door/string scheme but this time it actually worked because diego slammed the door instead

viktor- was eating an apple and it came out, started crying and hyperventilating very loud and pogo had to spend like 45 mins calming him down

lila- was trying to open a jar with her teeth. this was before the handler had her too she was just wild like that

i think it’s interesting that five went to two other places in the future before the apocalypse and like. his family could’ve seen him running right there. just for an instant. and then they would have to lose him all over again. they might question if they even saw him, or if was just a trick of the light or the mind.
