Thank you so much for the fic! The first time I saw a ‘walks like a dog’ fic it was just Ilya being stupidly in love with Shane and horny as hell for him, no controlling or nagging. I thought THAT was what the tag meant. Thank you for writing something so true to Shane! He loves Ilya for his assholeness and that is the pure truth!
exactlyy, i don't want this fic to be seen as a complete condemnation of that tag because it's not supposed to be !! i just feel like the fandom has unfortunately taken that tag and ran off with it into the sunset to an extent that doesn't always feel like shane or ilya to me which is how i got the idea for this one
i am, however, fully condemning the nagging wife shane hollander trope 😌 let's let that one go please !
