Not sure why I’m writing all this shit down, maybe because I want to always remember this, maybe ‘cause I can’t fucking believe I went through this. Or maybe it’s because I need you to know how much it fucking meant to me.

I know I’m not an overtly loving guy, i hear what everyone says when they think I ain’t fucking listening. I know. But I hope I’m showing you another side, I try baby, every fucking minute of every fucking day, to show you how much you mean to me,  how much I want you, need you. You are my life.

When you came to me with your Christmas wishlist as you called it, I laughed. Fuck doll, a fucking Christmas list? A Christmas tree? It’s the fucking end of the world and you want a Christmas tree?!  And that’s what my girl got. A fucking tree and all the crazy ass tinsel, garland and gaudy baubles that decorate it.

I loved watching you, smiling, laughing. Fucking makes me smile, something neither of us do much of anymore. I miss it, I miss everything from before. But you, love, you make it easier to forget a time before we fought the dead to stay alive.

So I’ve decided we are gonna celebrate every fuckity fucking holiday from here on out, Halloween, Valentines, Easter, Yankee Doodle Fucking Fourth, Fat Joey’s Birthday. Every fucking one. Figure if one makes you smile maybe they all will. Because that, is what you deserve, baby doll.

It’s a small moan that causes you to pause, but it sends the poor man on the table into overdrive, as he looks up at you with a bright flush and wide blue eyes.

“I’m sorry–” he stutters out, as he shakes his head.

“It’s all right. Some people have that reaction,” you smile and try to calm him down, though you can’t help 

“It’s not you, I swear. It’s just I haven’t–” he tries to explain as much as a flustered man in a towel could be. 

“Hey, it’s okay. Take a deep breathe,” you state and motion the breathing with your hands, as he follows suite. You smile, as you tell him to lay back down.. 

“If you more comfortable, I could put on music or you could talk,” you state, trying to ease his tension because a mesage wasn’t supposed to go the opposite way. 

 “Sure, sure.” 

“Okay?” you look at him, as he smiles.

“Chris,” he softly.

“Then, let’s get started, Chris.”

Dean’s mouth hovered just in front of yours, so close that you could feel the heat of his breath, short and shaky — more pants and puffs than firm exhale — blow across your lips with the barest hint of minty toothpaste and the distinct smell of the second beer he’d finished off, a binge of liquid courage to give him that final push to throw every loaded thought out the window. Somehow, in the swell of confidence and suddenly intense ‘damn all consequences’ attitude, Dean had managed to back you up against the wall, though whether you had made that decision consciously or not was lost beneath the present heat of his body standing right in front of you, and the lack of room for you to think about moving elsewhere, let alone for you to consider whether your own body had a mind of its own.

Everything about him until this moment had been a tease—his lingering glances, his loaded expressions, his flirty smiles, his suggestive winks—all of this was just a way to dance around the fire without the risk of getting burned. But who was the fire and who was the dancer in this scenario? Because both roles could change. Dean had never kept his trysts with women a secret, and knowing this, you’d watch the heat curl in his eyes and had done your best to keep your distance. Yet sometimes, you’ve been the flirter. A little liquid courage in you, the right mood, some leftover adrenaline from a hunt, and you’d light match after match just to watch the way his body reacted when you’d blow them out. Neither of you wanted to get hurt, to get burned, but you sure did behave like a couple of pyromaniacs. 

How alarming was it then, for that flame to become wild?

Not as much as it should have been. You heard Dean swallow hard, saw his lips close, then part, his tongue darting out to moisten them. And with that glance at his lips, you were two-thirds of the way gone. All it took was that spark, a glance back up at his eyes, and the flame was reignited.

In a single surge, in a firm inhale, Dean eliminated the distance. This moment, more than just a pivotal mark in your relationship, was a line no one had ever crossed nor touched. This was a leap into flame. This risked not even third degree burns, but forth. This risked everything. This was the point of no return.

 I know you would fucking kill me if you saw me right now. Yes, you’re asleep, and yes, I’m creeping on you. So fucking gorgeous, baby, lying there, your beautiful hair shining in what little light shines through the curtains. Your breathing so steady it’s fucking soothing. I can’t believe it’s our anniversary today, one year since you first came storming into my life, turning my life totally upside-down.

 I was returning from an unsuccessful run, didn’t get a fucking damn thing except a nasty gash on my side. I dragged my sorry ass to the infirmary, expecting to find Carson. But instead, I found you, doll. You weren’t at all intimidated by me, take you shirt off please. You never faltered, through my groans, my swearing, my sexual innuendo, you never flinched. 1. I have scoliosis, have had it since I was first diagnosed in the second grade. I got corrective surgery for it almost four years ago, and now I have two metal rods and eighteen screws in my spine. My family jokingly calls me Wolverine and says that I have Adamantium in my back. 

2. Next year, I’ll be majoring in Criminal Justice and will hopefully one day work in the FBI or DEA or some other similar field. I’ve always wanted to do something to help fight against crime, even when I was nine I knew, of course, like most kids I wanted to at one point be an animal cop because...animals.

3. I’m ambidextrous. That means I use my right hand for some things and my left for others. I write with my right (though I could learn to with my left), I use scissors with my left, I eat with my left, I iron with my left (or right)...The list goes on. Predominantly though, I’m right handed. Being ambidextrous came in real handy back in the day when I played soccer, which is another fact about me that I’m gonna sneak in here. I played for almost 9 years and was pretty much equally skilled with either foot. Quitting it is one of my biggest regrets.
