If Your Heart Could Speak, What Would It Say?

If your heart could speak, it would tell people all about the admirable world you hide inside. Behind the sturdy yet breakable walls, there's undivided softness for every person you meet. It's colorful core is filled with so many hopes, so many dreams.

Sometimes, in the midst of all the bright colors, it forgets the world outside. A grey world that comes rushing through with its soldiers, gritted teeth and clenched jaws, each with a sword so sharp it cuts stone.

But your heart isn't made from stone. It hopes even when it cuts. It dreams even when it bleeds. It's human. It's everything wonderful about you in this lonely grey world.

These past nights, I mostly find myself clutching my chest and gasping for breath—sobbing like I have never sobbed before. It’s been a while since I had a nightmare. Instinctively, I reached for my phone to call you, only to find no sign of your name in my contacts. Oh, right. 

It wasn’t a nightmare.

Because you really did leave.

The Right Kind Of Belonging

Just be one of them. How many times have you been told that while growing up? And how many times has that actually worked out? How many times did it leave you feeling fulfilled? Maybe you were able to fool yourself, to push the doubts down and just nod your head. Then one day you will wake up and tell yourself that you’re done with it. With all the conforming, fitting in and belonging. That will be the day you come to realize that other people don’t define you. You only belong to yourself. Only you can truly fulfill yourself.

Facing obstacles in a group

So today i realised something that i wish i had realised sooner.

Never expect others to face obstacles for you, assume that everyone is scared and/or not as well equipped to handle it as you.

Whatever the situation may be,always carry your own weight, say what the best course of action the group should take, motivate your fellow team members however you can.

We are all human, we all have our inner demons, no matter how big or strong or smart the other might seem, you never know whats happening in their minds.

Focus on what you can do, and whatever that is, do it as best you can.

Canvas Your body was covered in tattoos , That only you could see, Of everything you've been through, And everything that held you back, Of all the struggle , And things that you lack, These invisible tattoos are easy for you to see, And yet everyone else thinks they know, The things that you live with , And what you can't let go, But for what they know is as as shallow as can be, Don't let them change your mind of , How far you've come, Don't let them change the story, And twist your words , Be true to yourself , And let those invisible tattoos fade over time.
