Exams about to end! I want to write at least 1/4 of my book this summer. (I already know that that 1/4 of the book will have to be rewritten multiple times, omg i dont want to do this now.... Oh no wait i do) Question: Do you guys get up extra early to work in your writing projects?
Coming into a fandom late
Coming into a fandom early and watching it become an angry clusterfuck
Being in a dormant fandom that suddenly comes alive again after a new book/movie
Don’t forget about those who come in the midst of a fandom war.
Accuracy at its best
Being in a fandom and not even knowing there’s a war going on…
all of this shit…lol
When You’re Not In The Fandom But You’re Nosy AF
When you get into a fandom only to discover it’s dead
This gets better every time I see it.
@fuboos-mess
Being in a dead fandom…
Or being in such a tiny fandom that it feels like youre the only one
The accuracy hurts.
Being in a fandom that had a shit ending.
When you’ve been fangirling long enough, you’ve experienced all of the above.
Being in a fandom meant for kids.
This just gets better..
@mi-kleos
When you realize that joining the fandom has ruined you
Fandom hell in general
Yes.
This^^^ just… ALL OF THIS.
Being in so many fandoms that you don’t even know what’s going on
THIS IS THE SKULDUGGERY FUCKING PLEASANT FANDOM IN ONE POST!!
Trying to recruit people to your fandom
Annnnnnndddd it’s back
Being in a fandom which has so many antis
I’ve probably reblogged this before, but that was before these great additions.
Being in a fandom that actually works together
Why is this so true? All of it.
being in a fanbase but all your mutuals suddenly turn into Kpop blogs
I always enjoy it when a good post comes around again and has been improved by the reblogs like the years for a fine wine.
Being in a fandom when shit goes down and everyone has different opinions
When you are in a fandom and don’t care for others people opinion…..even if they are right…(believe me, I have met several of those)
Being in a fandom you never meant to join
I love this. and it’s gotten better
After abandoning a fandom you’re still a little bit emotionally invested in….
THIS IS A TUMBLR RELIC! ALWAYS REBLOG!
Random thoughts.....
So next week i have my final tests in college for the semester and i have a shitload to study and in order to clear my head for all the work i have to do i decided to write it down on my journal.
I ended up liking what i wrote and i wanted to share it with you guys.
¿How much should i carry?
I have two important test´s next monday (Finance and accounting ll) and i need a good grade on both tests to arrive at the exams with good footing.
¿Should i dedicate on helping others now? O should I worry about my own problems?
¿Should I do what others do, what logic dictates to do, or should I go beyond what others consider common sense?
Should i do what others are not willing to do? Am i different than them? Why should I? Can I take it easy?
This weekend is not going to be fun. I am not going to have a good time and im most likely going to suffer. But its all for a good cause.
Yes, I must do it, even when it seems impossible and ilogical. Thats why so many people are confortable doing the bare minimum and didnt finish college.
Most people dont see farther ahead.
¿Do i see farther than others? If i do ¿Is it ok what i see? Do i like what i see?
¿Am i crazy? Or do i just know that world is crazy?
Not sure if i will ever know the answer.
But then again, i dont really want to know the answer.
I’m upset because I want to change the world but the world is too big and people are too mean
“Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world’s grief. Do justly, now. Love mercy, now. Walk humbly now. You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it.” - Rabbi Tarfon
I needed to hear this
not obligated to complete the work, not free to abandon it.

Resources For Writing Deaf, Mute, or Blind Characters
Despite the fact that I am not deaf, mute, or blind myself, one of the most common questions I receive is how to portray characters with these disabilities in fiction.
As such, I’ve compiled the resources I’ve accumulated (from real life deaf, mute, or blind people) into a handy masterlist.
Deaf Characters:

If you have any more resources to add, let me know! I’ll be adding to this post as I find more resources.
I hope this helps, and happy writing! <3
“Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.” - Winston Churchill
A very brief explanation of Black Sea’s kingdoms
(I’ll probably go in depth abt them in another post, btw)
Dristor - Mostly known for it’s army and imperialistic ways. Has recently conquered Choel, and Acalia is quickly falling under their blades too. Their armies are strong and skilled, and no one knows what they are. It’s population is mostly humans, and faes are strongly oppressed.
Khanao - Mostly known for their precious stones and fine fabrics. Though the north is cursed with merciless droughts and countless deserts, is one of the wealthiest kingdoms of the south. Ruled by a five different councils. It’s population is very mixed, being one of the most accepting of half-faes.
Choel - Mostly known for it’s revolutionary agriculture. Used to have an elected diarchy, which was replace by two permanent dynasties when Dristor took over. It’s population is mostly humans.
Acalia - Mostly known for it’s precious gems, beautiful landscapes, and strong armies. Acalia thrived for centuries under the rule of four different royal families, but with the recent invasion of Dristor, only two families remain to battle against the enemy. It’s population is made up almost 100% of faes.
Yalis - Mostly known for it’s spices and incredible gastronomy. With the recent invasions to their neighbor, Yalis has not moved a finger to help their centuries long commercial partner. There are no record of humans stepping on Yalis’ territory.
The unseen courts/kingdoms/clans: Groups of faes that refuse to follow the rules of their monarchs. The most famous would be the Redcapes clan, The Shadow Court and The Small People Kingdoms.

My parent´s greenhouse
My parents are getting old.
My father will work for a couple of months more and then he will retire. Anticipating this, he and my mom decided to build a greenhouse and also they have planted a lot of vegetables and fruits outside of the greenhouse,so now its more of a orchard.
Its quite big, and it demands a lot of work.
My father has a weak knee and sometimes has to use a cane to get around and my mom works a lot and she rarely complains.. But she is still old and i can tell she gets tired.
They ask me to help out a lot and i have to admit, its not my favorite thing to do, i would rather spend my time studying or watching tv or whatever. And i dont really have to help them you know? I have my own things going on, why should i waste my time on someone else´s proyect?
And then it hits me.
Its not about them having to rely on someone else to get things done, its about me doing everything I can to make a better life to everyone around me.
My parents greenhouse is most likely going to die if i dont help out.
So thats why, even if its not my proyect, even if i am not going to gain anything, i will continue to help out. Many times i have been placed against the tide and i have been given numerous oportunities to give up, but no, that is not my business.
Facing obstacles in a group
So today i realised something that i wish i had realised sooner.
Never expect others to face obstacles for you, assume that everyone is scared and/or not as well equipped to handle it as you.
Whatever the situation may be,always carry your own weight, say what the best course of action the group should take, motivate your fellow team members however you can.
We are all human, we all have our inner demons, no matter how big or strong or smart the other might seem, you never know whats happening in their minds.
Focus on what you can do, and whatever that is, do it as best you can.
Getting started
Most days for a couple of years i have felt something inside of me that tells me that i can be a great writer, and i always think: “Ok, im gonna start writing that book today, it has some interesting ideas, I think it could be good!”
But it always ends there, it ends in the idea. I never get anything done.
Not today.
Well yes, i know, this isnt a book. But doing something is better than nothing right?
And i wonder, do big writers start out like this? Im currently in college, and while i dont exactly hate what i study, I cant help but wonder how my life would be if i dedicated myself completely to writing.
So yeah, i guess i wanted to get things going.
I should introduce myself: Im a 25 year old college student and i want to try my hand at this tumblr thing. I plan to write whatever weird or semi interesting thought goes through my mind. I have some idea for novels and maybe ill write something about that, i dont know, we'll see how things go.
I have absolutely no certainty of how this goes, but.....
I want to make it. I wont know my limits if i dont leave my comfort zone and never take challenges.
So yeah, here goes nothing
