Tired

I’m tired

Not physically tired

Mentally tired

Exhausted from you

And the space between us

Friend

Maybe I’m not that friend you call for help

Maybe I’m not that friend you call to hang

Maybe I’m not that friend you call to say hi

Maybe I’m not that friend to you at all

I really want to be that friend though

But I don’t want to reach out and feel like

you won’t reach back

Maybe this is payment for not being that kind of friend to people in my past
