Fili 2022 Whumptober Masterlist

You can find all 31 days of my 2022 Fili whimptober fics here! I’ll be bringing them out day by day and I hope you enjoy. These will probably just something short (400 words to 1000 words) unless I feel motivated as I write.

Please understand that these fics depict forms of physical, emotional and psychological violence and/or pain and may not be for everyone. Each fic will have individual warnings of triggering content contained in that fic so please READ AT YOUR OWN RISK. IF IT WILL TRIGGER/UPSET DO NOT READ THE FIC.

Pink skyes || A Zeke self-para

Ever since he found the black cat that hang at the park, Zeke found himself going back there pretty much everyday, he kept teling himself maybe the kitty belong to someone, and yet he kept coming back to check if it was still there, he had decided, if it was still there today, he was gonna take it home, after all with his powers he found the owner pretty easily and if it didn’t have anyone, well, now they would have each other, he could use the company, it had been a while since he had some, well, he had friends, but it was the looking for something more than tented to not lead anywhere for him, either he’d fall for the wrong person or he’d rush and screw things up by gowing appart, as he had never taken the time to actually meet the other person. “There you are!” he says as the kitty jumps onto the bench right next to him, “Well, I guess this is faith my furry friend,” Zeke pauses as he looks up at the sky, “And faith is afuny thing as they say, a very funny thing my friend, would you like to hear a stoy?” he asks as the kitty gladdly jumps onto his legs, getting comfortable on his lap, “I’ll take that as a yes.”

Glacing up at the sky, and its shade of pink, he can’t help but to be brough back to that day, many, many years ago, “See, the story starts with a drifter, just like you, Perhaps I guess, we can say, he was the black cat of his family also,” he smiles at the kitty, “Now, don’t give me that look! I mean in a...not as wanted as the other cats, see everyone loves colors, but when you dare to be dark, to be something different than what people want you to be, they aren’t going to be as happy, and this is where our...well, he’s not exaclty a hero, still to this day, as much as he’d like to be...but you get a the point, he too was casted out, demanded to be someone he was not. he too ended up just like you, out in the streets, at a very young age, do you have a family?” he asks the cat petting its head, “He does... well he used to, see the people that didn’t like our stroy friend were the exact same people who were meant to protect him and be by his side and so he left home,” he pauses, looking up the pink colored sky once more, “he run. He didn’t know anyone, he had no where to go. After a while he run far enough, but now, he was in a town he didn’t know. Living alone, sleeping in the streets, doing magic tricks to earn money, oh yes, our friend is a sorcerer, but see, his emotions got so bad, it was so painful, he didn’t have it in him to fix his situation with his magics, ‘cause see, our friend was so weak he couldn’t even use it right, he had been running for too long, alone and scared. One day, just as he had left all hope behind, he was laying on the floor, looking at a sky just like this one and a man show up, his name was Marcus. He told our friend he had been watching him for a while. Just like I’ve been watching you, and so he took our friend home...become his family, gave him everything he ever wanted, oh yes, everything changed that day, a day just like this one...” he says, his eyes still up in the sky. It felt like a life time ago, but it didn’t matter how long Zeke would live, he’d never forget the man’s kindness, Marcus had saved his life, gave him a porpuse, he had shown him good people were still around and this was the type of kindness Zeke wanted to bring into other’s lives. empathy, he sure as heck had a lot of that. “So you see, my furry friend? doesn’t matter how low you’ve gotten, how much life has taken you down, sometimes a kind soul is just around the corner to reach out to you the hand you need, in a day like today good thing happen, good thing can still happen...” he smiles, picking up the kitty on his arms, Zeke begans to head back home with it, “Now, I must tell you, our friend? he chose his name after he was picked out of the streets, he felt...he was a different person from that point on, its a shame I don’t speak cat so you can pick yours...but don’t worry we’ll figure it out!” he happily says, petting the cat’s head, pink sky above them as he walked home, just him and the yet to be named kitty.

They were looking out the window, as they try to gather back their inspirarion, Avery sighs, this song was driving them insane they were stuck, unsure how to continue the lyrics, as they look out the window they noticed the pink shade in the sky as the day was coming to an end, Avery stares at the sky as the memory hits their mind, unable to hold on a smile.
