Stop making assumptions.
I dont know why so many people assume I’d be number 11, this is my doctor…
I don’t believe that shot of the manicured hand is of Timmy. It is Rebecca’s manicure. In other close ups of Timmy, it‘s clear his nails do not have polish.
Hello Anon,
According to creeto.com, Rebecca Ferguson is left-handed, which corresponds to the footage in that clip of someone with an impeccable manicure signing autographs with their left hand. [x]
I relied on what the previous anon told me and by the sequence of frames in the clip which seemed to imply to me that it was Timmy’s hand. I did not think to question it or examine it further.
It’s a lesson in the perils of believing one’s assumptions. We can’t always assume that what we see is an accurate reflection of reality or what we perceive to be an accurate reflection of reality. My apologies for the mistake.
Thanks for your comment. ☺️
You need to be a special kind of stupid if you actually assume you know my thoughts/needs better than I do.
Stop feeding the ideology that women are better equipped to sense/feel your ulterior motives. They are not. They are co-dependent and 💯% CLUELESS.
You don't have special intuition/gut feeling: you are PROJECTING and willfully misinterpreting.
We are not the same. We don't share feelings or experiences like you imagine in your fairytale sisterhood bubble.
Your delusions are presumptuous and the safest method to drive me away for good.
Brotherly Concern

Summary: It is obvious that Lan Wangji is keeping things from his brother since escaping the Wen.
Lan Xichen just wishes the secret had been something a little easier to handle.
My comments: In which Lan Xichen makes an offbase assumption. And then another. And then sticks to it. And finally, is really surprised to find out he's wrong. And all of that is BEFORE the 13 year wait and the revelation about Jin Guangyao, in which he learns he's been wrong about many, MANY things, some weightier than others.
miscommunication, assumptions, misunderstandings, pining, assumed heterosexuality, wrong assumptions, canon adjacent, homophobia, 13 years, angst, protective siblings, brotherly feels, happy ending, @ibijau
Wrong Assumptions
Persona 4 | Yosuke x Saki | Rated G
Canon-divergent, Saki lives, she and Yosuke finally go to the movies together
---
“So, what’d you think of the movie?” Yosuke asked tentatively as they slowly walked out of the theater.
Saki hadn’t said much all afternoon, and Yosuke could see even now that she seemed tense.
When they reached the sidewalk, she knotted her hands tightly behind her back and looked up to the sky, which had transformed from light to dark while they were inside watching the movie.
“Hm, well, if I’m being honest…” she started, taking a long pause and looking like she was trying to find a way to most accurately articulate her opinion of the film.
“Yeah?” Yosuke prompted, wondering why she seemed to be dawdling.
“…I hated it,” she finally said decisively.
Yosuke squawked, “Seriously?!”
“Did you like it?” Saki asked, peering up at him curiously.
“Well, no, but I picked that movie because I thought you would like it.”

The WORST Ore Monogatari Assumption
So the thing is, before I actually watched Ore Monogatari I only really only saw part of their opening from those “100 anime opening of all times” video, and the scene that imprinted in my mind the most, was the one where Takeo play as King Kong holding Makoto with Rinko flying over them as, I guess rescue.
And there where also other similar scenes but my take is. At the time I really only started watching anime, and I wasn’t used to such open and different body types that may not represent age pretty accurately.
Because of that I thought… *sigh*… I thought Takeo was some middle-aged man that have crush on the middle or high schooler, where Makoto was either real ML or possibly parent or some kind of person responsible for Rinko, and anime is about how Rinko and Makoto try to escape and avoid Takeo that is some super creep, possibly Rinko is too innocent to notice something is wrong and Makoto to not destroy her innocence tries to get rid off Takeo without her noticing.
…
Well I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised when I actually watched anime.
I have say even thought I feel ashamed to think of my boy Takeo that way, in certain way this show that anime was able to make his appearance right as and threating/unattractive looking which fit into anime premise “don’t judge on the outside”.
I feel like if Netflix or Hollywood would ever try to make life action out of this, Takeo would be just some tall but still objectively attractive actor that would be just said to be looking unappealing in narrative but in reality he wouldn’t look in any way ugly as “we can’t have bad looking actors for ML roles”.
Because of that in certain way, technically this isn’t “The WORST Ore Monogatari Assumption” as that was kinda the point but… it’s still embarrassing that I once thought the gentles giant Takeo is some kind of predator.
Rant.
