Would you like Sweet Enchantments to be given the green light for future seasons? I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews over the series, and I understand each side. I personally wouldn’t mind seeing more seasons of it along with more characters. I just kinda hope it doesn’t get too much of negatives reviews that it gets thrown away.
Abso-fucking-lutely! How is this even in question? I named my new Choices/Lovestruck Sideblog after her @runa-amberthorne (and ftr, all future Choices/Lovestruck asks should go there)
Why would I not want to see more of Runa Amberthorne, Love Of My Fucking Life? There has not been anything about Runa or her Route I haven’t loved to bits. The “Mixed Reviews” for Runa are from people who shouldn’t be playing Runa’s route (I can’t speak to the reviews or quality of Lucien’s).
They’re people who:
Don’t Really Like Enemies to Lovers and Related Tropes, at least not in the way Runa’s was obviously geared to.
If they’re raising shit about the binding - yes, there’s issues there, in an RL sense, but A, it’s the law in the magical verse, so that’s hardly Runa or Lucien’s fault and it makes sense in the context of hiding magic from humans, and B, it’s an implicit part of the premise
If your complaints about Runa’s route involve its core tropes or basic premises, then you aren’t the intended audience. A character like Runa isn’t for everyone, but seriously, when as Lovestruck really given us a character like Runa for a female LI? Hot and cold, bitchy but also cares, hatekiss/shut-up kiss, et cetera. They’ve had all kinds of male LIs that are like that (or so I gather), but because Runa isn’t all sweetness and light, there’s issues?
Runa Amberthorne is amazing, and if the people who don’t like her take her away from the people that do just because they’ve decided its “problematique” then fuck them.
Hey if aliens were to turn out to be real do you think their math would be the same as ours?
(this sort of non-Lovestruck/Choices related ask belongs on @kyliafanfiction, ftr, unless this is somehow related to one of those two games?)
Uhm… well, Math is commonly understood to be a universal language, as I understand it, though there’s no way to know for sure. Without being a mathematician, I would say… probably? I mean, they may not use Base 10, but if they used like, base 12 or base 6, once we translated their numbers into ours, Pi would still, presumably, be Pi. Pi is just a representation of a circle’s circumference divided by the diameter. Circles are, in theory, circles everywhere.
Different species may approach math in different ways, but the core basic principles should be the same.
Also, aliens are absolutely real, if you define “aliens are life on other planets” because there is like, virtually no chance Earth is the only life bearing planet in the universe. Now, “intelligent aliens” is slightly less likely, but space is really big, so…
Will we ever meet intelligent aliens? Not a clue. Probably not in yours or mines lifetime, at the vert least.
Do you headcanoning any btvs characters as lesbians except the ones that are lesbians within the confindw of Canon
This kind of question belongs on @radison
However, the answer is no. I don’t have a lot of sexuality headcanons as a rule - I take what the canon gives us, as a general rule, and I tend to take a pretty basic read on things. Willow, Tara and Kennedy are Lesbians. I hc Faith as Bi because it has a lot of support in the source material (albeit not ironclad proof), and I hc Amy as Bi because I ship her with Faith and Willow (seperately, not together) - but she also shows repeated interest in men in the canon. Amy is one where I’ve got no real canon to support that theory, because we have so little on Amy to begin with.
The other non-straight sexuality hcs I have for BtVS are Giles, as Bi, because his interactions with Ethan often look like ex-lovers, and Jenny Calendar, as Bi, because @dreadfulcalendarwoman, or whatever her URL is now, who I consider the expert on Jenny Calendar, hcs her as, and I accept her view, lacking any strong reason to believe otherwise.
I have no issues with other sexuality hcs, as long as no one acts like they’re the only sexuality hc someone is allowed to have.
