Posts are not queued, I will only post asks when I have time or want to

If you send a link (ex. referencing a post) i'll put the link into a hyperlink in response to the ask so its easy to access

I'll also link the poll/post from this blog if you're responding to/about a poll/anon. If you're talking about a poll on the polls blog go ahead and either name the poll or link the poll so i know which one you mean, otherwise I'll just guess. If you want no link or its about multiple just put "no link" in the ask

I will avoid adding my thoughts to a post but i might put a short response in the tags. anything longer i'll reply from my main blog

posts will not be tagged with radblr tags, only categorization tags

rule-breaking asks will be logged with the rule broken and when it was sent/deleted (the ask will not be shown or posted). rule 2 will not have ask deletion logs made

Rules

Only submit if you're a radfem or radlean, if you're an obvious conservative or TRA it will be blocked + deleted (exceptions may be made if you're polite and want to ask a question... Don't push it.)

Spam asks will be blocked and deleted

Don't be going back and forth at each other through anon, just make a sideblog and argue there

If you go on some bpd rant about another user on here i'm not posting it. you can submit crit on users but keep it sane

Don't pretend to be a different person when talking about yourself or pretend to be another user. I don't have a lie detector or anything but i just won't post it if it's blatant or I strongly suspect it

In general since I don't endorse what's posted I'm not going to police what you say even if I strongly disagree, but if you're being virulently and openly racist/homophobic/etc don't send the ask. I might post it to make fun of you but more likely I will just delete it

Be normal so I don't have to add more rules to this list

Im venting a bit but I often get sad thinking about how deeply ingrained gender ideology is in progressive spaces. I worry it will never go away, after all misogyny exists since forever, or religion as an exemple, so why would I believe this will pass now that it’s so firmly implanted ?

Crazy that the simple notion of « nonbinary is a nebulous and stupid term based on sexist stereotypes » is an irrecevable take for so many.

about the server vs kitchen staff poll: I’ve worked both and I think it’s crazy how people online think servers “work harder” somehow. being a waitress was a very chill job. yeah it gets busy, and walk a lot and carry heavy plates and deal with customers but kitchenwork is 10x as physically tasking and stressful. you also need to do a lot more cleaning. there’s heat smells, more danger as well.

I’ve never really cried outside of when I was a baby/toddler and then 3 times due to extreme distress (physical pain/assault as an adult). Is that so rare for a woman? I know testosterone fucks with men’s tear ducts, but I don’t have any hormonal issues. I don’t even tear up during movies, and am just not very emotional in general. Whenever I read posts on this website, it sounds as if there’s women who cry almost weekly, and constantly tear up. But in my own life, I’ve only witnessed people doing so after great distress or due to pain. Men and women!

i was initially scared when this was posted bc of how i've seen some other polls and conversations go. but the notes on it are actually oddly comforting, having been a minor or 18 on the younger side of a couple age gaps that were directly used as examples of "not okay" by different users, and having a problem with sort of blaming myself for it all. thank you, women, for the reminder.

I've been on radblr for almost 10 years now and I think 2017 me would be heavily disappointed in 2026 me. A lot has stayed the same, but a lot has changed. Hopefully 2026 me won't be hypothetically disappointed in 2036 me, assuming she isn't blown up by nuclear war or something.

Do you believe in the concept of babyfever for het/bi women or not? By babyfever I mean getting a sudden urge to get impregnated by a man/carry his (and your) baby at some point in your life. I don’t mean just wanting to raise children one day or adopt. I used to think it was bullshit. but now that I’m close to my thirties (I’m les), every single bi and het friend I have is becoming very baby obsessed. Just yesterday I watched a close friend flipflop from ‘childfree’ to ‘I need to hurry up and get stable so I can have some rugrats’. All the women and men I know who this happens to are in their early to mid thirties.

A lot of radfems could easily get trans men on their sides if they exclusively used sex-based language and didn’t misgender them

Majority of trans men realize that they face oppression because of their sex & how society sees them as ‘misbehaving women’, but they’re turned off from radical feminism because they don’t want to be called women

I’ve been able to make small changes (the ones listed above) and have gotten many trans men to acknowledge the true enemy (males)

Unpopular opinion:

telling bi women to just “date women” because men are misogynists makes no sense because so are the majority of women. this idea that every lesbian and bi woman who have a female partner are dating a radfem or even a woman who agrees with even half of our views is ridiculous. my own female partner is probably less feminist than some of your husbands. people are never going to decenter love and attraction in favour of ideology.

this is also why even the most misogynistic, woman-hating, vile dude will still happily chase and try to date and hook up with women who he finds attractive to satisfy his needs. idg why that’s controversial for women? so i’m les myself, but i 100% understand why so many straight women wouldn’t want to be celibate.
