Thinking about posting about my Wrong Earth Dysphoria here?

Idk I need to get these thoughts out of my head and onto either paper or a screen

I imagined a version of Earth that's just... 99% the same as this one, with a few tiny differences, and those... I need to live there instead. And obviously I can't. And I don't know how to deal.

Just a version of Earth where the sapient population isn't Only Humans, one where I can actually transition to my demiform, one that's a tiny bit more accepting of queerness and a little more accessible because like half the population is extremely diverse in species and body types. Not a utopia, not even a good place. Just slightly less shitty.

Wrong Earth [Clark/Lana]

Clark knew of the multiverse due to someone telling him that the Earth he inhabited was not the only one, of course he didn’t believe them but there was something in the back of his mind telling him it wasn’t the strangest thing he heard. He forgot all about it until recently when suddenly a portal looking thing appeared and he walked through before he even had the time to process what was going on, next thing he knew he was landing in a dumpster behind some coffee shop sending trash everywhere not to mention scaring the daylights out of this girl who was nearby, after fighting with a string that somehow twisted itself around his leg he pulled himself out of the dumpster and peeled a banana peel off before fixing his glasses, he looked over to the girl who was staring at him like she’d seen a ghost. 

“Um...probably don’t having people randomly falling out of the sky and falling into dumpsters, um...sorry about that? Didn’t mean to frighten you” Clark said as he scratched the back of his head and laughed sheepishly.

This is from a new indie book from Ahoy Comics - Wrong Earth #2. It and scene right after are what really sold me on this book. Through use of stand-ins it explores what would happen if we switched places of two different interpretation of Batman (Dragonfly/Dragonflyman being his stand-in here) - one inspired by Adam West and one by Nolan/Snyder era. Really the moment the gritty one here meets still alive version of his world’s dead Robin stand-in is when I thought this might be more than some easy gags. Maybe someone among my followers will find it at least interesting.
