What’s one opinion your character has that creates/created conflict in their life? How has it affected their daily life? Have they lost friends over this opinion? Did they end up changing their mind about this opinion?
This is a really good question, one I’m not sure I can answer, because it honestly hasn’t been brought to light—even for me, yet.
The only instances I can think of that may be relevant, are when Silas’ perspective of what is just in her role as a Judge conflicts with either her Justice, Graves, or her former trainer, Judge Muraia. Hell, even some of her friends, if present by some bad luck on a case.
There’s undoubtedly friction in those moments, and Muraia has had to grab her by the scruff a few times and be the softer hand in some matters, but instead of abandonment or cut ties, it’s always been followed by a lengthy lecture to change her perspective—or at least make her more aware of more opened possibilities.
