Apologetically wimsical, I flurry

Your tones made dulcet by whiskey

I am part of this

I elicit your brimstone flavours

Because I thrive on the peated shifting ground between us

I play with broken halos, flaming swords and amber irises

Nevermind lines cosmically crossed with excuses

Love, Always lost in translation at my fingertips

And the blessed space between us I must hold you at

Words: Rasp meander lucid flicker sunset

Sunset’s rasp Hands meander

Ribs and darkened silk The day’s lucid fabric Dared to cover Strawberry locks Freckles flicker Your shapeshift dreams My bones translucent Each kiss a prayer

Forms entwined

Sanctified air

My Love a bite

Pilgrim’s path carved

In welting reverent nails

In condensation 

Blanket, South Down acre

After redundant breath’s rapture

In supine parallel prayer

We silently thank our Maker
