With the number of things Sara had to balance in her life, it would have been assumed she could not have survived without knowing how to be organized. If it was anyone else in her position, maybe they would have handled the many different aspects of her life better than she did. But of course Sara was not among those folks who had everything all figured out, all the time. She was a chaotic mess on her best days, and today was unfortunately not one of those days. She finished cleaning up and was ready to head home, already lost in thought at what she had to do when she got back to her apartment. And it was only when she was reaching into the purse that was supposed to be over her shoulder that she realized it was not there. Turning around, she looked into the now locked store and there it sat, in full view on the counter. “Oh god,” she muttered, hands pressed against the glass. Checking around her for people, she crouched down and tried her luck at picking the lock. After all, it looked so easy in movies.
