WIP Song Tag
Stole this from @words-after-midnight, I hope you don’t mind! Music is a really big inspo for me, sometimes I’ll loop the same song for hours just to get into the zone. For this tag I’ll be doing my main WIP Where They Can’t Hear You. I’ll be kind of vague in regard to spoilers!
Rules: Pick 5 songs that you feel represent your WIP and describe how they do so (or don’t and just leave it at the song) and then tag as many people as you’d like.
1. Golden Antlers - Glass Animals : If there was ever a song that introduced the tone of this story, it would be this one. The instrumental’s foreboding and unsettling vibe sets up the story very well.
2. Dangerous - Son Lux : Same reason as the prior one, but the lyrics of this one give me sense of the main cast and their motivations.
3. All the Things We Do - The Ninth Wave : It’s very difficult for me to find songs that fit the dynamic of the main two characters and keeps consistent with the feeling of the story.
4. Killing Spree - O’Brother : Same reason as the prior! Side tangent: Absolutely in love with the build and breakdown of this song
5. New Ways - Daughter : Lyrically and musically, there is not a better song that fits my main character, Paige. The droning sound of this one fits the confinement of the setting and the sense of exhaustion.
