My submission for @wtclangen's design contest! I love how Somali cats have big, adorable eyes, and with Halfdusk being a compassionate fellow, I tried to emulate that here! I'm also outrageously curious to what this guy's big, dark secret could be 👀

Silly submisson for the one the only @wtclangen !! I love the name Halfdusk, it invokes such a feeling that Im not actually convinced I captured here but whatever :^3 I'm relatively happy with how this turned out

Faithful to the game colors; I don't dislike them but I'm more partial to a warmer/duller palette.

Some thoughts are as follows:

Because of that 'secret' thing, I wanted to give him a happy face while also being just a little unkempt. His pose is an attempt at reflecting this - being more hunched and curled inwards. His fur was also drawn a little more spikey/pointed to reflect this :^)

I couldn't tell which foot the scar is actually on . Because I'm bad at reading clangen sprites. But fuck it we ball!! I also couldn't tell you why I decided to remove a toe. Feet privileges revoked.

Heres a fun fact for anyone reading down here; did you know that somali and abyssinian cats are actually black? They are just extremely ticked, black cats with high rufusing. Halfdusk here, on the other hand, is probably an orange ticked tabby. Or cinnamon. Can be hard to tell in art sometimes. :^)
