Nimbus /ˈnimbəs/ A luminous cloud surrounding a supernatural being.
After a devastating landslide wipes out their Clan, orphaned siblings Moonpaw and Fogpaw are left with nothing but the mountain beneath their paws and each other. Forced into a relentless search for a new place to call home, the small duo grows into a makeshift Clan along the way. New friends aren't the only ones following them on their journey, however - a malicious cat from the Chasm follows in their wake, determined to put an end to the Clan she thought she had destroyed.

Welcome to NimbusClan! My name is Froggie, and I really wanted to get in on the ClanGen fun everyone has been having! NimbusClan is a two-part ClanGen comic: alongside the standard comic format are written portions that delve more deeply into each scene. The comic pages can be read on their own, but if you'd like the ~Full NimbusClan Experience~ be sure to read the story installments in addition to the comic pages!

Cats are allowed to breed with cats that aren’t their mates
Same-sex couples will not be able to have kits, but adoption is increased
Cats are allowed to have kits with an unknown second parent
Romantic interactions with cousins is turned off
Leader will automatically choose a new deputy and cats will choose their roles on their own
Content Warnings:
NimbusClan contains Warriors-typical themes of violence, blood, and depictions of animals injured and in distress. One of the characters suffers from experiences akin to hallucinations and intrusive thoughts.

You can call me Froggie! I’m 27 and use she/her pronouns, but I don’t honestly care if you get those wrong. My current drawing and writing speed allows me to get about one update out per month, as I work two jobs that take up most of my time. I draw and write for the story when I have time, and though I do tend to manage hitting my monthly update goal, I may not always be able to. This comic, while mostly planned out story-wise, is very experimental for me, as I’ve never made a comic before. Expect frequent changes in art style and formatting!

Hey everyone! First, I just want to say. Thank you so much for getting me to 100 followers! I am extremely grateful and I am having so much fun telling you all Battooth’s story!
Now for the fun bit! I wanted to do a character design contest after seeing Foxy and a few other creators do their own! So here is mine!
On moon 21, a queen named Smokeyears and her three kits join the clan, Snowkit, Smokekit (though her name might change, cause I don’t want to have matching names in clan, if you want you guys can give suggestions too!) and Plumkit. Smokeyears will be designed by me with the any of the features the kits gain.
This contest is only for the kit designs, I’m just mainly showing you Smokeyears just for you guys to see her.

Wanderingclan is a nomadic clan with several seasonal outposts, cyclically traveling from place to place. A clan of artisans, traders, and inventors, Wanderingclan prides itself on it’s diversity and community. With no formal leadership, this populous clan makes decisions as a collective.
I’m Luckyfoot, creator of @Ranchclan, and this is my background project I’ve been dabbling in. An open-source clan culture for anyone to use in conjunction with their other clans! Wanderingclan will expand on my other cat culture projects by introducing new technologies for them to use. Inspired heavily by projects like Bonefall/BetterBones, Rippleclan, Forestclan, and more, hopefully this will be a comprehensive guide for creating ocs for Wanderingclan and including them in your own worlds. So how exactly does this work?
Wanderingclan is an open-source project designed to be a shared creative sandbox - think of it as a giant can where anyone can jump in and make their own ocs, bands, or stories without asking permission. Because the clan is intentionally huge and populous, every new cat or band you create is automatically considered “canon” to the broader Wanderingclan universe. You can draw comics using Wanderingclan as your setting, add Wanderingclan characters into your existing stories, or drop fun references and crossovers with other people’s OCs. That said, you’re never required to include everyone else’s characters in your personal version of the clan - your corner of Wanderingclan is yours to control. The only hard rule is: don’t kill off or permanently harm another creator’s character without their explicit permission. Other than that, roam free and have fun!
Can I have my sparklecats/startrekcats/thewoodscats/otherwise sci-fi/fantasy cats in Wanderingclan?
Yes! Just like the above, your personal version of Wanderingclan is yours to do what you please with - no one else is required to include fantasycats in with theirs, so you're just as welcome to populate Wanderingclan with whatever type of cats you'd like.

Osprey “Ozzy”: purplish tabby she-cat. 41 moons. Stoic and loyal first mate to Captain Jack. She comes off as cold and blunt.

Another page! I almost redid this one when I finished because I feel incredibly “meh” about it but I remembered my goal in this blog is to have fun so I decided that it would be more fun to keep moving forward.
