Honestly people need to understand the difference between written language (formal language) and spoken language (informal language).

Spoken language: they

Yes. I am aware this how this works. Yes. I am aware "he/she" is more formal, but "they" is used in common speech.

That's why I want you to call me they/them.

How am I supposed to know what things are masculine and what things are feminine?

For example, humans have decided that flowers are feminine, when really, they're a lot of the time both sexes. In a lot of different species of fish, the more colorful or "flowery" of the species are the males.

Are male fish feminine by that standard?

Why don't more women work in the construction industry, or any other industry with heavy equipment?

If humans are going to gender everything, why don't they stick to their original designation?

It's "manly" to be strong, and physically able to do tasks, while dexterity, intelligence, and spatial awareness are more "womanly" traits.

So you'd think that men would work in construction doing the manual labor (which they do), but you'd also think women would be running the equipment, since they are "better equipped with the skills needed?"

Of course not. Women get the socially identified "weaker skills" but hell on earth if they use them for anything some random person deemed "manly".
