Honestly people need to understand the difference between written language (formal language) and spoken language (informal language).
Case #1: concerning an individual of unknown gender
Written language: he/she
Spoken language: they
Yes. I am aware this how this works. Yes. I am aware "he/she" is more formal, but "they" is used in common speech.
That's why I want you to call me they/them.
What you do in writing is your choice.
Depths know I probably won't read it anyways.
