- i fail to prioritize anything above my work

- finding time for my s/o is hard

Welcome to Night Vale

I've been thinking about what the characters look like in my head, so here goes.

Cecil: While he is in his early 30s, all his features are sun bleached from the lifetime in this desert town and his flesh toughened by the harsh weather. Blue ink tattoos are still crisp as the day he was put to the needle, though he got many of them in his early 20s. They cover much of his upper torso and arms, and can be seen peeking out of his shirt collar when he is wearing something loose. The themes are tribal and Lovecraftian for the most part, a measure of the absurd and cosmic are included as well. As his voice suggests, he is a calm personality, professional most of the time. He claims ancestry of mostly native peoples with spanish mixed in, but his european roots are most prominent in his features. He has pale brown eyes which are tricky to say they are truly brown whenever there is any kind of shift in the light. His lips thin, his chin cleft, and a slight smile is always present; as if he is privy to a joke that no one else knows about. Brown hair that leans heavily to blond, an average sort of height and the build of an average person. He is not overweight or underweight. His style of dress screams university professor, with ties and bowties, dress shirts, vests, pants - but all with modern taste and style. He wears glasses for reading only when he absolutely has to.

Carlos: All his features are dark but have a great deal of brightness to them. He is likely in his early 30s, yet still a little uncertain about the world but excited because science is the burning passion of his life. Night Vale is an amazing and interesting location to him and it stems into everything about the area, including the people. While he started out keeping his hair long, he quickly realized that desert life would require him to maintain a shorter style. He manages a short mop of near black curly hair that is the envy of all around him. He has dark brown eyes and chocolate colored skin, but it is not clear if his coloration is totally natural. Carlos has no tattoos and does not have the most positive opinion of them, but considering Night Vale, even these things have intrigued him. Carlos is strong of jaw, with perfectly shaped lips which do not smile as often as others. He takes his work seriously, only taking in simple joys around those that he cares for so long as nothing distracts him. Some would call him a workaholic, but he simply loves everything about his scientific studies so much that it hinders his social life. His style of dress had not evolved past his college days - he wears sneakers, khakis, and polo shirts under his lab coat most often. He is slowly being convinced to update his wardrobe.
