This morning I was on Good Day Kentucky with Jessica and Catie Newsome to talk about Donate Life Month and Trust For Life. I came straight from physical therapy -- literally changed shirts in the car on the way and hooked up the mic as I walked from the studio door to the stage. I want to remind folks that there are some events scheduled between tonight's Double Nickel Happy Hour at West Sixth (hope to see you there) and the 5K in September. Tuesday, April 18 from 1-6 pm Clark County Donor Fair The Wainscott Building You can register to donate organs and tissue, or bone marrow, you can donate blood on site, and we have lots of local organizations seeking donations of new and used items. For more information, contact the Clark County Circuit Clerk's office or check the Clark County Circuit Court Clerk's Trust For Life. Friday, April 21 from 11 am - 1 pm Annual Blue Green Day Cookout Courthouse Annex side lawn Thursday, April 27 from 5-8 Generations of Hope Clark County Extension Office This is an opportunity to learn about organ donation. Medical professionals, attorneys, ministers, funeral directors, donor family members, living donors, and transplant recipients will be there to answer questions in a town hall style forum.
