WAKING THE WITCH X-Men First Class AU // Book One of Two MASTER POST (UPDATED 4 SEPT 2018)
Waking the Witch takes place in the Summer of 1951 and follows the original mutant trio from X-Men: First Class when they are younger, less experienced, but no less passionate. First, Charles Xavier and Raven Darkholme, an affluent brother-sister duo that fancies adventure wherever their travels take them. Second, Erik Lehnsherr, freshly escaped from his tenure as a member of Sebastian Shaw's Hellfire Club and bent on vengeance. When Charles discovers Erik's plot to assassinate one of Shaw's former contacts, he also discovers that Erik is a mutant. Charles and Raven begin a journey that will change how they utilize their powers and pursue Erik to try and convince him to join them. Whether Erik is willing, however, is another story entirely.
