Blind Attack | Min and Wuerni
Minyoung had left her home with their family driver to go downtown, something she always enjoyed doing, but never really got many chances. She ended up telling the driver to go home because she wasn’t sure how late she wanted to stay out. Maybe after she had a drink, she’d go watch…er, listen to a movie. Besides, she was all for having her own independence since she didn’t get it much at all growing up. On top of that, she is 22. She could at least manage getting a taxi on her own.
However, things did not go at all how she expected…no, she couldn’t have ever even imagined anything close to what had happened. It was something you’d expect from a TV drama, waking up in an alley between a booming nightclub and a dive bar. She could tell that her clothing was tattered and torn from the way the breeze licked her skin in places that were before sewn shut to keep her warm. The way her lower lip stung faintly from a small cut and her head throbbed from what she could have assumed was how she passed out in the first place. She immediately felt panicked, not being able to hear much over the music from the club next door.
She didn’t know if the group of people that suddenly attacked her where still close by. “Who’s there?” she immediately called out instinctively trying her best to sound strong, but she quite frankly was terrified. More than she has been in a long time. The only response she got to her question was just far off laughter assumingly from friends enjoying their time out totally oblivious to the girl in the dark. Assuming that the people that did this to her were long gone, Minyoung’s hands immediately began feeling around on the ground next to her while her eyes welled with tears purely from being flustered. She couldn’t find anything. No purse, no phone, and more importantly her cane that was practically her only means of sight was missing.
