Wullerton!
One for the Canadians out there...
While listening to Welcome to Night Vale, specifically episode 19B (The Sandstorm), I felt an intense and irrational hate for Desert Bluffs. This hatred in my case has since expressed itself as an urge to do the Wullerton spit every time 'Desert Bluffs' was mentioned by name.
If you've never seen Corner Gas it's a Canadian sitcom set in Dog River, Saskatchewan. The residents of the town have a rivalry and pathological dislike of the neighbouring town of Wullerton, and everyone in the whole town spits any time Wullerton is mentioned.
Anyone else?
The relationship between Night Vale and Desert Bluffs kind of reminds me of Dog River and Wullerton.
Can we talk about something else? I'm running out of spit.
