Liar (Closed)
It was a nice day, and Bucky was still asleep the last time Steve had checked. Steve hadn't been to the Smithsonian in a while, so he decided to take a visit. Steve hopped off his motorcycle and headed down towards the museum, just happy to be out at all.
Steve, naturally was drawn to his favorite exhibit, the one about Bucky. He had never gotten a chance to really get to know it, either. Today, he decided to take the tour. A lovely girl by the name of Mayberry was the hostess, knowing everything there was to know about the forties from the many times she had talked to Steve.
While giving the tour she came to when Bucky joined the army, telling them the usual, when he joined, his serial number 32557038, wait-
Steve paused, his head swirling with questions, why did it start with 32? If it was 32, that could only mean- and as soon as it clicked Mayberry said "The numbers 32 in the beginning of his serial number, meant he was drafted."
He was drafted. He didn't sign up for the war. He didn't have a choice. He... Lied... To Steve of all people. Steve's heart shattered as he quickly left the tour, left the Smithsonian, and left New York, riding his bike anywhere it would take him.
He found himself in a park, sitting on the bench, trying to make sense of everything.
