So, not only did we lose the game, we came out of it with three injured players. Hegering got something with her heel, Obi of all people was icing her leg, and most worrying is Caro Simon, who over-bent her knee.

Tomorrow is roster decision day. They fly out on Tuesday. There'll be probably more than 23 players on that plane to be safe.

Some pre event pictures i took while i was having a shitty Tuesday morning. The sunrise on the high desert is so beautiful. I really love the mojave, esp on its own without the wasteland set dressing (which i also love). Its so quiet and still in the morning. The desert is so full of life- little woody shrubs that explode ibto adulthood after a rare rain, ant colonies and scorpions and beetles and even little hopping kangaroo mice. There are often crows and other birds soaring overhead. The way the sand feels... its a really beautiful place
