Sorry went on anon on that but I'm hesitant because I'm a little older than the average age group of fans.

My experience being an older fan, at the WWA DC show, consisted of:

Being old enough to understand when a girl was asking another teen (who didn’t understand) for help calling an Uber, I stepped in and helped her out.

Being asked if I had a kid waiting outside their hotel with me, “No, I am the kid,” was my response.

sunshineandabutterfly who went with me, same age, thought ahead to bring bandannas to give out for the bandanna project and the people sitting around us enjoyed that.

Thinking a Bruno Mars song was U2

When I had a minor freak-out regarding Niall a mom next to me said, “I take it that one’s your favorite.”

Controlling when I arrived, when I left, if I went to their hotel and at what hour.

Knowing how to navigate the stadium and environment without concern.

But mostly, I screamed and sang along with everyone else, regardless of age.

You’ll talk to people there, and if you don’t want to, you won’t. I would’ve gone to Philly alone if I had the money. Nothing to be hesitant about, it’s dope being secure enough in yourself to go do what you want to do…. even if that’s screaming at 5 younger men and singing along ferociously to bubblegum pop jams with questionable lyrics. (:
