Eridan rolled onto his side, grunting softy into the pillow his face was buried in. As he slowly rose from his deep slumber, the dreams that had been at the front of his mind blurred into nothing and a fuzzy image of white lay before his eyes as his lashes batted and he opened his eyes. Confused and disgruntled, he turned over to face the canopy hanging over him. He couldn’t seen to place his location… and he certainly didn’t remember falling asleep. Where had he been? He vaguely remembered a session door… and they won the game? His head began to throb as he attempted to recall how his situation came to be. He closed his eyes once more as he tried to let everything sink in. It became clear to him he had had quite a deep sleep, an surprisingly without the aid of sopor slime.
After lying there for sometime he decided he needed to force himself up and out of this ridiculously comfortable sleeping device. Sitting up, he gave himself a chance to take in his surroundings. He seemed to be in some sort of lavish respiteblock, fully furnished and tailored specifically to Eridan’s needs. He couldn’t have designed the room better himself, well, he may have given himself a recuperacoon if he had set it up.
He climbed down from the heavily cushioned sleeping device, and was surprised to find once out of the bet, he felt almost, renewed. He stretched his arms, legs, and shoulders. He was fully clothed in his usually garb, excluding his cape which his eyes quickly found hanging on a hook need a large wooden door. He approached the door and quickly fasted his cape around his shoulders. Much Better.
He turned the nob on the door and exited swiftly into a long corridor, turning back to face the door he’s came from, he noticed his symbol engraved into the door. A quiet and soft noise that almost sounded like appreciation escaped his gray lips as his clawed hand rose to touch the wood. Where was he, and who put him here?
