Jade’s ears twitched as she listened to the troll speak. When she heard him mention dream bubbles, she realized that he had come to the same conclusion as her, this was likely a dream bubble. Jade was a little troubled because she couldn’t remember falling asleep, but she also knew that she hasn’t always had the best sleeping patterns. Just as she was opening her mouth to ask the troll if he remembered if he had fallen asleep, she was interrupted.
He thought the he needed to give /her/ a second chance. If anyone needed to be doing that it should be the other way around!! He was the jerky fish-douche who had trolled her for years! A part of her wanted to tell him off, he did deserve it after all! She took a deep breath, and settled with rolling her eyes. For now. She tucked a loose strand of hair back behind her ear, and let loose a disgruntled sigh. She supposed his company would be better than no company. Before giving Eridan her answer, she closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. It was behind the darkness of her lids she had a small flashback, one image sticking clearly in her mind. A large white door. She opened her large eyes and furrowed her brows. Maybe this was some sort of insight as to where they were? Jade knew she could be wrong, but she had the feeling that she wasn’t the only one standing in front of that door.
“Yeah, I’m with you!” she exclaimed, suddenly fueled with excitement from the prospect of seeing her friends again. And soon, if her gut was right!
One couldn’t help but notice the little sigh she took before responding. But what followed caught him a bit off guard, she had suddenly gained confidence for the mission Eridan had issued, when at first he got the feeling he was about to be at the receiving end of her annoying human tangent. But nonetheless, he quickly shook the feeling off, and turned his focus back to the topic at hand.
“W-well then let’s go.” He nodded and set off, turning the corner he had found Jade at in the first place.
Idly hoping Jade was actually following him, he continued down the corridor until he approached a wide set of marble stairs. He ran his hand over the railing, taking just a few steps down while in awe at the craftsmanship. The work was worthy of an empress’s hive. This really was and odd dream bubble.
Without looking over his shoulder, “W-who’s dream could this ewen be…” he trailed off. More so speaking to himself than his newly acquired traveling companion. The whole place was so strange, and only felt stranger the more they explored, parts of it familiar, reminding him of historical Alternian architecture and other parts more alien to him. He couldn’t quite place his finger on where he’d seen the style before. Maybe Jade had an answer? Speaking more audibly this time and actually turning his cheek to speak her way he asked, “Do you recognize anythin’ at all in this place?”
