iOS 6 was previewed on June 11, 2012 during WWDC 2012. Following the pattern of previous releases, iOS 6 drops support for the third generation iPod Touch as well as the first-generation iPad. Devices that are planned to be supported on this release include the iPhone 3GS, the CDMA and GSM variations of the iPhone 4, the iPhone 4S, the second and third generation iPads, and the fourth generation iPod Touch.
But, it seems like only iPhone 4S and iPad 3rd Generation will get the full features changes. For the rest only some major changes.

Have Siri read your Notification Center updates.
"Eyes Free", allowing for cars to integrate with Siri with a mic button on steering wheel and for launching Siri functions. Screen is disabled during Eyes Free mode
