So there I was, casually listening to my reccomended songs on Spotify, when a song I’ve never listened to comes on.

‘Huh’ I think. ‘Sounds familiar’

But I can’t think of why that would be. So I go about my business, scrolling through Tumblr, same old. I get all of half a verse in when suddenly

It hits me

In a wave of memory, unsurfacing unfortunate decisions of time past

A time where one dedicated far more passion and interest than can be considered healthy into a certain alien fish-douche

So long story short I subconsciously suppressed my memories of listening to Broadway Homestuck on repeat so hard that I forgot not only the cover but also the fact that there was an actual real song it was based on.
