A Very Merry Sinclair Christmas (Johnny Sinclair x reader)

(Day 3: Reader surprises Johnny and the rest of the cousins and Gat over Christmas Break! Which leads to making Gingerbread house and watching your favorite movie!)

The taxi boat came to a halt as it neared the deck Ebon pulled the rope and tied the boat to the dock helping y/n with her bags.

"Thank you so much, Ebon. I hope you have a happy holiday." She said smiling as she took in the sights of beachwood.

"Thanks, y/n. Have a good holiday as well and it was no problem." He said smiling at someone in the distance.

"I'll make sure Mirren knows you said hi." She said smirking as she grabbed her bags (literally just a suitcase and bag.) and walked towards the house leaving Ebon with a light blush.

"Y/n?" Cadence said as you approached seeing Cadence and Mirren. Mirren gaze turned confused before turning around seeing her as well.

"Oh my god! Y/n!!" Mirren shouted as the two girls ran up to their friend pulling her into a hug.

"Surprise!" She said laughing as she was consumed by the hug.

"I can't believe you're here!" Mirren said as they pulled away.

"That's the design of surprise!" She replied with a cheeky smile. Mirren shook her head throwing her arm over the girl as she grabbed her bag.

"Huh! Wait until Johnny sees your here!!" Cadence said excitedly as you walked towards beachwood.

"I have so much to tell you!" Cadence said.

"Well I hope some are juicy about you and Gat." She said making Cadence blush.

"Oh she does!" Mirren said earning a shove from Cadence making the girls laugh.

"Oh I forgot to mention Mirren. Ebon says hello." Y/n said sending the girl a smirk. She blushed.

"Oh! I guess I'm not the only one that's has stuff to spill." Cadence teased.

"I hate you both!" Mirren shouted. Making them laugh.

Johnnys ears perked up at the sound of laughter before setting his phone down looking over at Gat.

"Guess the girls are back." Gat said getting up as well as Johnny following after him and put the door.

"Hey! What are you two-" Johnny started before pausing seeing you. Gat smiled looking at him nudging him.

"What are you just going to stand there and gawk?!" Mirren teased which made him snap out of it and rush over lifting y/n up in the air as he hugged her spinning her around.

"He's down bad." Gat whispered to the Cadence and Mirren who were now next to him.

"So is she." Cadence whispered back with a smile happy to see her cousin and best friend so happy.

"What are you doing here?" Johnny asked as he set you down pulling away.

"I wanted to surprise you." She whispered. He smiled.

"I'm so glad you're here." He said before pulling you into a kiss. You both smiled at each other before being engulfed in a hug as the liars were once again reunited.

"Come on let's go put your stuff in the house." Cadence said as they all pulled away.

  While Jonny took your bag as he held Y/n's hand in his other as you all walked to Red Gate. They talked and caught up of what's been happening in each one's life though as the neared Johnny and Y/n stayed back a bit talking and flirting.

  Once they got to red gate they paused seeing Johnnys Mother. Y/n looked at them confused before seeing Johnnys Mother. She turned around grabbing Will's game off the table.

"Y/n? what a surprise. We didn't know you were coming." Carrie said as she saw her and Johnny.

"It's was a surprise mom." Johnny said squeezing her hand. She rubbed her thumb hopefully soothing.

"Hello Miss. Sinclair, I'm sorry if I intruded on anything it's just that my mother had a business trip to go on that she couldn't get out of and we all have been talking about it as well." She explained. Carrie smiled.

"Don't be silly. You're not intruding at all you're always welcomed here. I was just caught off guard a bit is all." Carrie said, all their shoulders slumped back down as the tension left them.  She walked past them before stopping next to her and Johnny. "Oh and Johnny's room is already prepared." 

Y/n blushed. "Thank you Carrie."

"Thanks mom." Johnny said with a smile that mirrored his mother's.

"Of course sweetie. You too have fun just not too much." Carrie said giving them a knowing look.

"We'll see you later mom." Johnny said.

"See you then." Carrie replied before giving quick kiss on her son's forehead. Before leaving the pair alone.

"Sorry about that.." Johnny muttered. Y/n laughed.

"It was a bit funny. Embarrassing.. yeah but funny." She murmured back he chuckled as they went to his room.

"I am really glad you're here." He whispered with another kiss. She giggled into the kiss as he pulled her down onto his bed.

The moment however was ruined as the rest of the liars stormed into his bedroom.

"Alright break it up you two can exchange saliva later." Mirren said as she plopped down onto the bed next to Y/n who had moved away from Johnny by now. Which led to an annoyed expression.

"Oh come on Jonny you love us." Cadence teased sitting next to Johnny.

"Besides your mom is looking for us and well didn't want her to come find you and give you more of a talking too." Gat said leaning against the door.

"What for?" Johnny asked tugging y/n back by his side which Mirren scoffed at.

"Oh I was wondering where you all were." Carrie said from the entry to Johnny's room. Gat and Cadence were now sitting together next to the bed on the floor while y/n, Johnny, and Mirren joked and teased about random things.

"What can we do for you Aunt Carrie." Cadence asked.

"I was thinking if you wanted since Y/n is here to spend it together away from some of the.. drama that we put you in but on one tiny condition." She said. The group's eyes widened as they looked at each other.

"What condition?" Johnny asked still in shock at the offer.

"That you all do gingerbread house and watch a movie at cuddledown with Will and the Twins." Carrie offered. The group looked at each other.

"Thank you so much Aunt Carrie we accept your condition." Cadence said getting off the floor and pulling her into a grateful hug.

"You sure it won't be too much." She asked.

"You act like this is our first time." Mirren commented which earned a slight shove from Y/n and a light glare from Cadence. Johnny got up walking out of the room with his mom.

"We can do it mom.. Thank you..." He said lightly. Not harsh or rash just a good lightly sign of gratitude.

"I'll deal with your grandfather tonight.. have fun tonight try to remember something that makes you happy and not remind you of th... the past no matter how much harder it is. You did good her Johnny don't let that fear and.. anger stand in the way between what you two have."

For the first time Johnny felt like a little kid again taking in his mother's helping words of encouragement and... love. An actual honest heartfelt conversation maybe not a lot to some but it was a start. He hugged her she tensed a bit before relaxing and hugging him back before leaving down the hall.

"Okay. Is this really happening?" Cadence asked as she sat the gourmet pre-made gingerbread house pack down. "I mean this is the first time we actually don't have to go have dinner with granddad."

"I know it feels weird." Gat agreed as he took an interest into the gingerbread house that had green frosting and decoration candies.

"Maybe it's Y/n!" Cadence exclaimed pointing at the girl who was between Mirren and Johnny around the table.

"Or it's just because my mom didn't want to deal with twins and your mom just needs a break." Mirren cut in Johnny shook his head while cadence scoffed.

"What I'm joking" Mirren defended y/n laughed

"No you weren't." She laughed. Mirren didn't even try to deny it as she was right.

"Look she said it not me." Mirren defended which made them all laugh. "But you are correct.."

"You are going to let Will or one of twins have that one if they wanted it right." Cadence asked looking at Johnny who had claimed the boat gingerbread house kit.

"Trust me he wouldn't want it." Johnny muttered. This perked up Mirren.

"I know the twins wouldn't but I bet you $10 bucks that Will wants it." Mirren said which earned amused looks. Y/n looked at Johnny an eyebrow raised with an amused smile.

"So what will it be Johnny?" Gat asked leaning over the table rubbing his hands together like an evil mastermind.

"I'll raise you $20 if he doesn't take it." Johnny raised the stakes earning a series of 'ooos'. Their gaze turned to Mirren who smirked before shaking her cousins hand."You're on."

"You two are ridiculous." Y/n said shaking her head with a smile while letting out a laugh.

"You love us and you know it." Mirren exclaimed, as her and Johnny threw their arms around her. Johnny leaving a kiss on her cheek while Mirren pinched her cheek, which made her laugh even.

  This is what she loved the most about them. When they are together the go back to the little kids they were before life got too complicated.  It was part of the reason she still came when she was with them it was like, coming home even though home was complicated and the least of all how much her and Gat we're not wanted by their grandfather and a bit from Mirren's mother but they never let that get to them... well sometimes.

  Though her dating Johnny the dislike she got from them grew but Carrie and Ed helped more than you'd think but her and Johnny got past it to the best of their capability.

  It was now dusk, when the activities begun Mirren ended up losing the bet as Will did not in fact want the boat. He wanted the sports car that he decorated it like the one in his video game. While the twins picked a house and a castle which they ended up helping them with. As the rest of them did houses.

  They talked among themselves laughing and joking about anything while simultaneously fighting over which movie to watch. Which evidently led to Y/n picking the movie which was both funny and a classic at least for her Christmas Vacation which they all accepted for it goes along with each of their picks. Something funny, something dangerous, something classic, and something kid appropriate ish.

  They grabbed pretty much all the snacks as the gathered around on beanbag chairs, the couch, or chair. They kids took the beanbag chairs along with Mirren, while Gat and Cadence took the chair and Johnny and Y/n took the couch.

  At the end of the night they ended up watching every movie each one wanted to watch. Will wanted to watch the Santa Clause for Bernard, The twins picked How the grinch stole Christmas, once the kids were asleep. Once they were fully asleep they put on Die Hard, Love actually, and It's a wonderful life.

  Before they all fell asleep, Mirren dosed off on to of the beanbag chairs using one for her upper half of her body while the other propped up her legs. Gat and Cadence were cuddled up on the chair as Johnny and Y/n slept in each other's arms on the couch.

He blinks, and Scott wavers into view. “Hey, buddy. How are you feeling?” Liam lets his head flop back down with a groan.  Scott laughs. “Yeah, we expected about as much. We’re really glad you’re okay. You gave us a pretty big scare.” Liam huffs. “Like, really huge. Like, we thought you were dead or dying like at least five times,” Stiles adds. “And then you bring Theo back with you,” Malia snarks under her breath. Theo, who also almost died half a dozen times with him. He jerks, trying to sit up, but his body is still numb enough from whatever painkillers they’ve given him that the lower half of his body only works enough for his legs to kick out uselessly. He tries to balance on his front legs and stand up properly, but they slide out from under him.  Scott rushes to help him balance but Liam ignores him, instead trying to find Theo. He’s not in the room at all. “Hey, hey, it’s okay.” Scott tries to soothe him. “You’re okay now.” Malia’s the one who clocks Liam whipping his head around wildly. She sighs. “Theo’s fine too. He’s in a different room with Derek.” Liam slumps over, and Scott lowers him back down to the table gently. “Would you… want to be in the same room as Theo?” Scott asks carefully. “We could bring you in there, now that you’re awake.”Liam pushes his head forward and chuffs. Please, he tries to say.
