Lucas let out a huge sigh, craning his neck upwards to look at the sole other occupant of the dorm. How him and Kovu managed to be the only two in the dorm, he had no idea, but when it was past midnight and the other boy was still up doing gods know what, he was honestly considering murdering him. Squinting into the lights above his bed that forbid him from falling asleep, Lucas finally decided to do something about it. Sitting up in bed, he reached over to flick the lightswitch up, swathing the room in darkness.

The ride had been quite long and the guard's uniform Steffan was wearing was beginning to itch and chafe, not as comfortable as his usual finery, but then that was to be expected. As he stepped from the carriage he stretched his stiff muscles and headed inside the castle. He was a mere ten paces inside when he spotted her and his heart leapt to his throat. "Farah." he said aloud, incredulous she had come to the academy. Steffan closed the space between them, grabbing her wrist and pulling her into the nearest room, shutting the door behind them. For a moment he just stared at her, a million emotions running through him at once. But it was imperative she not give him away. "We need to talk."
