i just wanna put this out there so everyone who sees my blog knows how my mind forms Z-A thoughts

this whole sequence:

informs my beliefs about the Z-A's plot.

From the trailers, Z-A has two sides:

Wild Zones - Meant to encourage unity between humans and pokemon by letting them share Lumiose (limited resource/space)

Battle Zones - Discourages unity between trainers, as they all fight and claw their way to the top so they can have their wish granted

Battle Zones represent Lysandre's idea that humans are inherently selfish and will fight and steal from one another, while Wild Zones oppose this idea, showing that humans are willing to share, so they and pokemon can live in peace and harmony. (or, should i say "Paxton and Harmony"?)

At its core, I think Z-A is about proving Lysandre's pessimistic view of the world wrong, and that everyone in the future can live peacefully without fighting over resources. Any predictions I make about the plot of the game will be based on this.

last minute ZA predictions based on nothing but gut feeling so i can say im blessed with the gift of prophecy if any of it is confirmed

still think it will be set in the future. not necessarily far-flung, but in the future nonetheless

AZ's floette will be obtainable via a sidequest or something (bc she actively threw herself into the kalos war, i'm sure she'd want to help out with whatever's going on in za right?)

also AZ's floette is totally a paradox mon. i mean. eternal flower fits the naming scheme uncannily well.

immortal lysandre will show up with a similar role to AZ from the og XY games as this regretful man

lumiose city is going to be used to convey the sharing dilemma proposed by lysandre in XY and show that people ARENT inherently selfish and pokemon can survive even in a future with limited resources

zygarde as either a pseudo-antagonist OR twist hero OR filling similar role to korai and mirai in SV

y'know, i never really got the logic of people blaming ford for the aquatos' generational psychic trauma. like. yeah, he did manufacture the water curse, but without ford's intervention, augustus would've been an orphan whose parents were both killed by maligula, and honestly probably would've been a far less well adjusted person in adulthood since he didn't have the support of lucretia in his formative years. if anything, his hatred of psychic powers would be more intense, not less.

don't get me wrong, ford did a LOT of fucked up shit, he's called peepaw warcrimes for damn good reason. although he genuinely did try to help lucretia and augustus, his methods were obviously less then ethical, and definitely not the best. AND, like, even if he didn't have time to hunt for helmut's body bc he was trying to relocate lucretia as fast as humanly possible, he could've at least LABELLED HIS FUCKING BRAIN JAR before committing mental suicide. ig he probably thought that someone would check the unlabelled brain and find out that it was helmut (which otto SHOULD'VE DONE but agh whatever) but he could've made the process a LITTLE EASIER, JUST SAYING.

...anyways, what was i talking about? oh yeah. assign blame correctly folks. get crully for the war crimes he actually committed, not for the ones he didn't. wya, out.

Ace Attorney: Kristoph Gavin

just wanted to put down some notes for a kristoph fic i wanna write whenever i need to take a break from my two pmd longfics

a compilation of four different cases kristoph gavin takes during the seven-year gap. one with apollo, one with beanix, one with ema, one with klavier (not necessarily in that order)

apollo: a month into his employment at gavin law offices. apollo's very first investigation. kristoph notices apollo's incredible skills of observation. if he didn't know any better, he'd almost call it supernatural. he was going to be quite the invaluable asset during trial preparation...apollo becomes a mainstay at kristoph's side from this point forwards. kristoph finds great amusement in making 'justice' puns. kristoph is slightly surprised that apollo doesn't bat an eye at investigating crime scenes, even though it's technically against the law. most rookies are. it's a welcome one. clay terran is the one accused of murder. gumshoe is the assigned detective. either that or (NOT PHANTOM) fulbright takes this case, and gummy shares the spotlight with ema. actually yeah i think i like that better.

ema: ema is willing to help kristoph bc he's phoenix's friend/friend with benefits/romantic partner??? she doesn't quite know what to make of them. kristoph keeps her guessing. this is the first investigation that ema's lead, so gumshoe is there as a sort of...senior consultant ig. not quite mentor. ema has picked up a bit of a smoking habit at this point. it's unbecoming of someone in the force, the smoke irritates kristoph's eyes and nose, the smell is going to linger on his suit, and not to mention the dangers of second-hand smoking...he manages to convince her to put down the cigarette in exchange for stress eating. 'wright gave me these...snackoos, the other day, would you like some?' the day ema hears about kristoph's arrest, she has the sudden urge to pick up smoking again. she won't though. people she admired being criminals? that's. fine. she's used to that. she's not going to let it ruin her. (the snackoos taste like ash on her tongue.)

klavier: klavier calls kristoph to help him figure out a particularly tough case. kristoph jokes about it being repayment for him not being able to face him down in court during klavier's first trial. klavier...isn't sure if he finds it funny. featuring: the gavinners (kristoph is fine with klavier's music career, it's quite illustrious, even if he personally isn't a fan of the genre (too noisy!) but a band? he's disapproving. too many people makes it hard to maintain perfection. and! the commercialisation of law enforcement that comes with a themed band is...well, he's not fond of it, to say the least.) a somewhat comfortable somewhat uneasy brotherly dynamic, daryan (kristoph despises his unruly conduct and lax work ethic, but begrudingly respects his adherence to code and nearly encyclopaedic knowledge of anything foreign affairs), and gavin-typical perfectionism (it runs in the family) also something to do with atroquinine? probably the murder weapon. klavier gets his inspo for his atroquinine song during this case

beanix: phoenix happens to be visiting the office as kristoph goes out for the investigation. kristoph decides to invite him along. 'why not come along? after all, it's not very often you get to relive the glory days, yes?' it's a taunt, a trap, accepting would be to invite pain into himself. phoenix knows this. phoenix accepts. homoerotic passive aggressive mental war ensues. there's definitely some clashing of investigative styles, but even if there's conflict, the unholy union of 'the turnabout terror' and 'the coolest defence in the west' when focused on one goal: finding the client innocent/the truth is merciless and unyielding. this is incredibly distressing to sebastian/eustace, who is the poor soul who has to try and hold back the veritable force of nature about to crash into and tear the prosecution's case apart, by any means necessary. kay is the assigned detective. she's excited to finally meet 'that man', but she's also confused by the whole thing that he and kristoph have going on? she thought phoenix and miles were together... whatever, she'll ask him later. (phoenix might decide to bring trucy along? i will decide that later.)

pizzasatAU expansion

okay so in a post 2 hour long intensive math work delirium i came up with more for this. mightve lost some of it after coming back to my senses but ill probably recall it as i put it down.

the MOTHER vs mr arim conflict mainly stays the same as it is in pizza game, with the ending of the true route of pizza game kicking off kiane's journey. kind of? MOTHER finally has enough of trapping arim in a timeloop and decides to just start erasing everyone in the country she has grown to hate, starting with everyone in the big microsoffit. she tries to get kiane with her MOTHER CURSE TM (which i decided to make different from the king's time freezy stuff just for fun. instead its like the wish that erased The Island but not exactly? like if someone was hit with the MOTHER CURSE TM you could remember what they were to you, who they were friends with, stuff you did together, but you couldn't remember their favourite food, what they liked to do, what they liked to wear. what their face looked like. their phantoms unconsciously wander the places they used to live, invisble to everybody except the people who once knew them. now i know this sounds exceptionally edgy for a pizza game au. but consider. this is also an isat au.) but MOTHER fails bc kiane got a fake birthday protection blessing from mr arim a few days prior and also bc inner is linked to her at this point and even though she's limited by the mortal plane she is NOT gonna let her host get killed by a power granted by the fucking UNIVERSE of all deities. pretentious asshole doesn't even bother to manifest an avatar to interact with the others, and the idea that they 'wouldn't really be "the universe" if they were confined to one singular form' is just an EXCUSE and THEY FUCKING KNOW IT!!!!!!

the MOTHER CURSE is spreading across the land and getting people but she's not really doing it actively bc mr. arim has locked himself in his office and she's too busy trying to get in and kill him to focus too hard on erasing everybody else rn.

sensei is a party member exclusive to doo's timeline, he joins the party with lamp. in roobit's timeline, the MOTHER CURSE TM gets him before they join. in the timeline where hes a party member, flowersei shows up after they beat MOTHER and wipes them all from existence so thoroughly that it almost overcomes roobit's do-overs and the universe, scrambling to save her, turns her into doo and kicks her into roobit's timeline.

sav is already fighting MOTHER once the party reaches her (he's losing) and at least one of roobit's do-overs is because she walks directly into his ultimate attack and dies instantly.

unhinged z-a thought

so like. we never see lysandre again after he fires the ultimate weapon, right? but we also know that az's proximity to the ultimate weapon when he used it to revive floette granted him eternal life, and in pokémon x, when he fires the weapon, he says, 'Sycamore's pupils... Let us live forever... That's right! I shall grant you eternal life! I'll give you the pain of endlessly waiting for a beautiful world to finally be built!'

so what if lysandre's immortal now too, like az. and if z-a is set in the future, what if we see him, now wiser and with character development (much like az) and he helps the main protagonist with the redevelopment of kalos. and what if the main antagonist is a descendant of professor sycamore and when you confront them, he's like, 'sycamore would be disappointed' or something. wouldn't that be sick nasty awesome?
