Wyll!Rook Romance Scenes Part 2/?
The thing about Wyll is he's so damn shippable with just about anyone if given enough thought, whether on a platonic level or a romantic one. I've mentioned on discord before (but haven't posted about it here until now) about how I could see Wyll and Lucanis actually getting on surprisingly well because they have a few parallels that could lay a foundation, especially since my Wyll!Rook is from a post-bg3 (and post-Mizora) timeline. Because here you have Mr. Lucanis "I'm a professional, not a gentleman" Dellamorte meeting the most gentlemanly sweetheart to come out of Faerûn, and the first time they meet he's helping free him from the Ossuary, no questions asked. Which consider the whole Mizora & Zara issue in their stories. Both of these two know what it's like to have their bodily autonomy stripped from them. They know what it's like to have others treat them differently at best and like monsters at worst, all because of changes forced upon them outside of their control. And while Wyll might be hesitant about the whole demon aspect, mostly because it's different from the way demons and devils operate back in the Forgotten Realms, I think he'd be more open to talking to Spite because, hey, at least he could potentially be reasoned with. Either way, Wyll would still treat Lucanis as an individual, separate from what Zara did to him, because that's all Wyll ever wanted was to be treated as the person beyond his patron, which I think would warm them up to each other way quicker. Of course, there's the whole assassin aspect as well, but I think Wyll would be more open to it so long as his targets remain evil cultists and blood mages. Keep innocents out of it, and Wyll is usually fine. Plus, in the aftermath of Veilguard, I think Wyll could do Lucanis some good if he sticks around Thedas. He's familiar with navigating both urban and rural areas. He'd be just as likely to join him at fancy parties, if asked, as he is to take him out adventuring to enjoy the sights beyond the city, and away from the Crows for a while. Tack on both of them having their undying loyalty to their city/home in the face of impossible odds, along with the family issues and their willingness to forgive those that wronged them in spite of all that... Ugh, affectionately meant, they make me sick the more I think about them.
In Their Hands
Summary: After Weisshaupt, Wyll and Davrin discuss Wyll's feelings for Lucanis.
Note: Had this in my drafts for a bit and need to post before I forget to again. Decided to write this while playing through my Wyll!Rook run, in which I've been romancing everyone for the experience.
Pairing(s): Wyll/Davrin, Wyll/Lucanis

"I don't get what you see in him."
Here they go.
Wyll fought back a grimace as he tried to keep up with Davrin's whittling, schooling his face into a blank expression while he slid his knife against the piece of wood.
Taken aback, Wyll decided to play dumb.
"What I see in who?" he asked, but he should have known better than to go for that approach, especially when Davrin was so clearly in the mood for games.
Dark brown eyes rolled skyward before settling on him once more.
"The Maker," Davrin deadpanned, his frown deepening. "You know exactly who I mean."
Right. Lucanis.
In the aftermath of Weisshaupt, things between the three of them remained tense, to say the least.
Pretty Promises
A short piece about one of Lucanis's and Wyll's first interactions. (Word Count: 924)
"You're not from here, are you?"
Upon hearing that, the second Wyll stepped foot into the Lighthouse's pantry, he considered turning around and walking right back out, but running away from the truth wouldn't solve his problems. When has it ever?
Although, this time, he wasn't hiding the secret of a malevolent patron from those he would call his companions. Instead, he was hiding the truth of how he ended up in Thedas in the first place, lest he end up sounding like a ranting madman.
Wyll cocked his head to the side, sparing Lucanis a charming smile, and decided to act the fool.
"From the Fade, you mean?" he asked through a breath of a laugh. "Heh. Sorry to disappoint, but no, I'm not."
Lucanis narrowed his eyes at him, crossing his arms over his chest.
