1. Wiress x Beetee (Beeress) - …this was surprising to no one, obviously *looks over at my hundreds of posts about them and numerous drafts*

2. Treech x Lamina (Treemina) - An unpopular opinion that I never talk about but I love them. The movie is what convinced me on them and I haven’t looked back since

3. Haymitch x Effie (Hayffie) - I don’t give a shit what SOTR said, I ship them

4. Cato x Clove (Clato) - Originally ranked much higher bc I LOVE THEM, but I read more about the top 3 than I do them. They were my OTP during my childhood THG days, pre-fandom

5. Katniss x Peeta (Everlark) - Self explanatory, I don’t think I need to say a word about this one. My first ship ever actually (we don’t talk about Jelsa)

6. The Morphlings (no actual ship name but their names are intertwined into a shared nickname) - Also very unpopular, but yeah, I enjoy the hell out of these two & my personal take is that they won sometime after Beetee, before Wiress & they were dating prior to their respective Games

Also I hate when anybody tries to make people unship by sibling-zoning them, it’s my least favorite trope actually so I kind of ship them out of spite and spite only

9. Mags x Woof (Idk if they have a ship name) - I was introduced to them in a fic and they’re hella cute, and I have a soft spot for older couples lol

10. Johanna x Annie (Johannie) - STOP, I actually love this one. I love the idea of them slowly falling in love after Finnick dies and raising Baby Odair together BECAUSE ANNIE IS ALLOWED TO MOVE ON AND LOVE TWO PEOPLE AT ONCE. And Johanna deserves happiness

11. Finnick x Annie (Odesta) - I don’t have any strong feelings for them, they’re not my favorite lol. I don’t hate them, don’t love them. They’re there and they’re adorable, so no complaints

i’m itching to write an abernallow fic

are there any haymitch x wyatt shippers here? i’ve consumed almost every wymitch/abernallow/hyatt fic there is, which doesn’t really count for much because there are only 20 or so, and this appears to be a rare pair situation so all i can really do is sob in gay and attempt to write a fic myself.

i’m obsessed with this pair and i’m making this post (my very first one, too) in hopes of finding someone who enjoys this ship as much as i do. please tell me im not the only one who lives for this ship.

Hello my love!!!

YES I need to write more stuff for my boys!!! And thank you for the compliment on the fic itself, it never gets old to get comments on stuff that I published a while ago 🥹

I'll move my current one shot of them up a bit more on the priority list. I'm hoping after the triple-upload week that's starting today, I'll have a bit of breathing room to finally be able to publish just a one-shot or two in order to cleanse my palate a little bit, because as much as I ADORE working on my WIP's, it can be a bit stressful sometimes, and it would be nice to do something low-stakes.

Here's what I'll do; I'll post below the cut a bit of the first draft of my current Wymitch WIP below the cut. Keep in mind it's the first draft, so it's not finalized in the slightest lmao BUT basically it's a Wymitch oneshot where Haymitch wants to introduce Wyatt to his ma and brother because he's serious about their relationship! It's funny and sweet and very fluffy, just feel-good shenanigans overall.

ALSO, if you send me a specific prompt for Wymitch, whether it be a dialogue line or a story prompt, I'll respond within a week with a 1k word drabble based on that prompt! I'll extend this to Haydove and Maydove as well, so feel free to send some prompts in to get some extra mini fics!

(Also, my apologies, I've been using the ship name "Abernallow" for Wyatt x Haymitch. I'm bad at figuring out which one is the right one to use! Sorry 'bout that!)

Anyways, see below for a slightly-shitty sneak peek!

Now obviously, Wyatt loves the way Haymitch looks, no matter the context. Haymitch is one of those people who just looks effortlessly good all the time, and it drives Wyatt crazy. But one of Wyatt’s favorite times to catch Haymitch is directly after he’s done working with Hattie. His hair is usually curling and messy from the steam, and he’s usually in a great mood afterwards due to the tips Hattie gives him. On top of that, (and the best part in Wyatt’s opinion) he’s usually partially undressed; his sleeves rolled up, or maybe the first few buttons on his shirt undone. And if it’s a really hot day, and the universe is on Wyatt’s side, he can sometimes find Haymitch with no shirt at all. Today, unfortunately, is not one of those days. But his hair is deliciously messy, and he’s got both the rolled sleeves and the undone buttons, so Wyatt counts himself pretty lucky for the day.  He’s at his usual spot, on the other side of the unelectrified fence, right at the edge of the woods, waiting for Haymitch to finish. He can see Haymitch off in the distance, and the sight of him, so disheveled and grinning from ear to ear, definitely does not make Wyatt go weak in the knees, thank you very much. He also doesn’t completely melt when Haymitch meets up with him and kisses him with that ridiculously smart mouth of his.
