okay, so if you want to customize your appearance in the CC, you have nine presets to choose from. seems fair, right? but you pick one of those, and then... you’re kind of stuck.
change your eye shape, rotation, how big or small the eyes are, eyelid shape, nothing. all of that depends on the preset you choose. you can move them up or down, or make the space between them wider or smaller, but that’s it.
change your eyebrow shape or style, rotate them, anything other than moving them up and down.
change your mouth shape or style in any capacity. all you can do is make the lips on your preset thicker, thinner, or widen them.
change your nose shape or style in any capacity, except make your overall nose shape bigger, smaller, or higher up/lower on your face.
(which already means that if you like one eye style but don’t like the eyebrow style, you are screwed. you are stuck with whatever your preset has).
BASICALLY, all of your features are LOCKED TO YOUR PRESET. wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!
i mean, that’s just the basics. the basics. you can’t change your eyelashes, you can’t edit your ears, you can’t change the shape under your chin, you can’t change your complexion. some of the presets have like.. double chins, or chins that weirdly don’t seem to have any fat at all underneath their chin with the skin that connects to your neck. you can’t change that. at all.
you can’t move the general facial structure in general up or down (which you can do in a lot of games). preset #9 for femryder, for instance, is like......... weirdly super low on her head. so all the hairs look really bizarre on her because her face is like scrunched on the bottom of her head instead of placed normally, and you can’t do anything about that.
basically, all of the features you get when you pick your preset -- you cannot change them. they are locked in. if you don’t like the eyebrows, too bad. if you don’t like the mouth, too bad. if you chose a preset because you like the bone structure of the face but don’t like the eye shape, too bad. like you can’t actually change anything!!!!!!! i’m so mad!!!!!! whatever preset you have, that’s what you’re gonna look like for the most part. change the hair, skin tone, whatever, but the features are gonna stay the same.
you are just completely stuck to whatever your preset has, and you can’t even EDIT what it has. it’s just beyond comprehension to me. i’m so. like what the fuck lmaooooo da3′s cc was pretty good and this is like...... basically the 2017 equivalent of me1 customization. except maybe even worse. lol.
