You’ve noticed Omega mimicking you whenever you practice with your lightsaber.
author’s note: I’ve been getting the bad batch on my TikTok fyp and I’m like you know what imma write something for them because it’s been a while since I haven’t.
pairing: The Bad Batch x Padawan!reader.
Warning: fluff, brief mention of order 66, mentions of PTSD.
When Order 66 was executed you had to hide your identity from the empire even when it came to no longer using a lightsaber, but when the rare moments came when the bad batch would travel to another planet where there was nobody around you would pull out your lightsaber and remember the lessons your master taught you.
While Wrecker, Hunter and Tech went out to complete the tasks Cid had given them you stayed behind with Omega and Echo practicing with your lightsaber, both of them watching you.
“I feel like you’re getting faster using that thing Y/N.” Echo said smiling at you.
“You think so? Was it better than the previous missions during the republic?”
Your heart always ached when you still remembered your times during the republic, you could still remember the day when you saw Obi-Wan for the last time.
You wanted to go with him when he told you he was going to fight general Grievous, but he knew it wouldn’t be safe for you.
Grievous didn’t show mercy to anyone including young padawans instead he told you; you would be joining general Depa Bilaba with her padawan Caleb on a mission in Kaller.
You still remembered that day as well, it was the first time you met the rest of the bad batch. Echo was the first one to call out to you warmly before explaining to the rest that you were Obi-wan’s padawan and had gone on previous missions with you before.
Before you could even introduce yourself to the rest you suddenly felt something cold hit you
“Stop talking and keep up!” Caleb shouted, you rolled your eyes the others chuckled before rushing to join Caleb as Depa apologized to you.
That’s when you felt a sudden rush of pain something was wrong the force was screaming at you to run, but before you could even ask Depa if she felt it as well you saw her own troopers raise their blaster at her.
She was quick to deflect some of them you tried rushing to her aid to help her, but she shouted for you to run you hesitated but you could see it in her eyes that she was pleading for you to run.
“Master!” You heard Caleb shout his footsteps getting closer, that’s when you grabbed onto his arm “we have to help her!”
“Caleb!” Your voice wavered, you could see his eyes start to water. “We have to run.”
You saw the rest of the bad batch staring at you confused especially Echo, but you couldn’t trust them and you had to keep Caleb safe.
You sprinted into the woods with Caleb and managed to help him get away.
You always wondered what happened to him after that you could only hope that he was safe somewhere, “Omega what are you doing?” Echo asked, you looked over and saw Omega using a medium sized tree branch and using slashing motions… was she?…
“I’m practicing.”
“For?”
“So I can use a lightsaber one day.”
You and echo smiled at each other when she said that, “can I hold your lightsaber?”
You made sure to turn off your lightsaber before handing it to Omega, she moved slightly forward when you placed it in her hand “it’s kind of heavy isn’t it?”
You giggled “is it? Honestly it used to be when I was using it for the first time, but I’ve grown used to it now it doesn’t feel heavy anymore.”
When Hunter, Wrecker and Tech returned back to the Marauder they saw Omega continue to mimic you while you used your lightsaber, the three of them smiled they decided to wait for a bit until returning back to Cid.
Author’s note: Here' s the second part! I needed to change a few things considering epsiode one takes place on Kamino, also this one is probably the longest writing but I wanted to get episode 1 out of the way.
You didn’t realize you fell asleep until you heard Echo softly calling your name “we stopped? Where are we?” You questioned yawning “Kamino.” Dread filled your stomach “wait Kamino why?” This was a bad idea, you’d technically be surrounded by clone troopers and after seeing what happened to Master Billaba…
“To gather information we just need to know what’s going on General.” Hunter said trying to reassure you, but when you looked over at crosshair you frowned what if he told Nala Se or any other troopers?
“I think it’s better if I stay here on the Marauder then..”
Hunter seemed to hesitate, but from his senses he could already tell you were filled with anxiety being on Kamino.
He nodded “I’ll try to find something out and return back to you.” You watched as they walked out of the marauder leaving you alone in your thoughts, you still couldn’t believe what was happening one minute you guys are talking about the end of the Clone Wars and the next… you bury your face into your hands.
“Trust in the force..” you mumbled to yourself you needed to find a way to contact Obi-wan or anyone else from the Jedi Order you just needed to find the right moment to leave the marauder.
You decided to take a quick peek outside of the ship when you did you could see rows of troopers returning… all without their generals. Your eyes scanned around until your eyes landed on a lightsaber that was on the ground, you quickly looked away not wanting to believe what you just saw.
Breath you told yourself panicking now won’t solve anything or get you closer to knowing what’s happening. You thought about what to do next until the comms suddenly interrupted your thoughts, “All personnel report to the staging area for briefing on the state of the republic.”
You slowly looked outside again and saw the troopers in the hanger start to leave you took this opportunity to finally leave the marauder you needed to get to the staging area, you remembered visiting Kamino with Obi-wan and Nala Se showing you guys around.
But you couldn’t show your face they’d know right away who you are..you scanned the area and found a vent quietly using the force you pulled it open and crawled through the space, thankfully you remembered the Kaminoans being clean-freaks so you didn’t run into any spiderwebs.
You heard a voice echoing from afar carefully crawling towards the direction of it, as you got closer the voice got more clearer and that’s when you saw the rows of clone troopers standing at attention listening to someone.
“And the Jedi rebellion has been foiled. The remaining Jedi will be hunted down and defeated. The attempt on my life has left me scarred and deformed, but I assure you. My resolve has never been stronger! In order to ensure the security and continuing stability the republic will be reorganized into the first galactic empire!”
You felt something burn in your stomach you couldn’t hear any more of this speech, you quickly turned around and started going back to the Marauder. Galactic Empire? Hunting down Jedis? Why was this all happening? You quickly jumped down from the vent and entered the ship.
You needed to find a place to lay low but where could you even go? Coruscant maybe and Kamino.. from what it seemed everyone was quick to accept whatever that guy was spitting out. You heard sudden footsteps making you instinctively reach for your lightsaber, but once you saw it was Hunter you relaxed.
“Are you alright?” Hunter asked, you gave him a small smile “somewhat.” It was quiet for a moment between the both of you before Hunter spoke up again.
“General-“ you knew he was going to tell you about the briefing “Hunter it’s okay I already know.”
He wanted to ask how you knew but it wasn’t the best time to ask it he could already tell there was a lot of things going through your mind, “you don’t believe what he said about Jedis… right?”
There was worry in your voice it was something that Hunter wasn’t used to. You were always calm even during the worst missions you stood proudly as their general, “of course not.” His voice soften “we know you.. I know you. We’re all confused too general this just doesn’t seem normal.”
Hunter’s words comforted you for the most part “thank you Hunter truly.” His gaze softened he wanted to say more but that’s when he suddenly got a comm message from Tech telling him to return back, Hunter frowned seeming to debate on going back or spending more time with you. You placed your hand on his shoulder reassuring him "It's fine Hunter I'll be fine I just need a moment to collect my thoughts."
He nodded "I'll see you in a bit then." Hunter leaves and you're alone again you kept going back thinking about what the clones were listening to if they were hunting down Jedis.. was Ashoka safe? Anakin or even Obi-wan? but the true question was how many of the jedi order were left? You felt something in your stir as you heard the thunder outside Kamino rumble.
You let out a small sob you didn't know what was going to happen next but it scared you; you contuined to listen to the thunder as you quietly cried to yourself.
You weren't sure how many hours passed until you heard Wrecker yell out your name you quickly woke up "dank farrik Wrecker! You almost gave me a heart attack!" You shouted as you got up from your spot "whoops sorry but we've been sent on a mission!" You titled your head to the side "mission what mission?" you asked.
"General Tarkin said there's a group of insurgents on the Onderon Sector." Tech replied you frowned "Insurgents?" "Separatist forces."
There was something suspicious about the mission but you didn't know what made it feel off "Where's Hunter?" you asked Crosshair motioned outside carefully you went to peek around the corner, there you found Hunter talking to someone you noticed it was a little girl with blonde hair. who was she? you wondered before going back inside "Hunter time to go." Wrecker said as he placed something inside the ship.
Hunter entered a few seconds later his eyes landing on you "I'm assuming Tech told you about the mission?" You hummed "He did.." you could feel Hunter staring at you damn him and his enchanced senses "Hunter-" "You don't feel right about this mission?" he asked.
"Yeah..something doesn't feel right about this." You whispered the last bit Hunter thought about what you said and about what Omega told him about Kamino changing.
An hour later the ship landed and you finally felt relieved to go outside for once and not be stuck on the ship you could hear creatures making sound all around you "What was that?" Echo asked looking around "You don't want to know." Tech replied as he checked his Datapad you groaned "Tech don't say that it'll make me even more paranoid."
"Well, at least it's not a swamp." Wrecker said "Close enough."
"The Separatist encampment's two kilcks south. We'll continue on foot and do a full perimeter scan." Hunter said informing the rest Wrecker jogged ahead but Hunter was quick to stop him "Covertly." Hunter said sternly "Oh, Come on. It's been days since I've blown something up." Wrecker groaned.
"Easy, Wrecker. Your programming's kicking in." Tech said "Hey, don't start with that!" You chuckled at the two’s bantering "c'mon Wrecker I'm sure you'll be able to blow something up later." You said patting Wrecker on the arm "Sorta wish it was now.. let's go general." You followed behind Wrecker this place was definetly something else.. you felt shivers run up your back.
"How many droids are we talking about, Tech?" Hunter asked, "I can't tell from this distance. Something's blocking my scan."
"Clankers always travel in packs. Let's get a closer look at what we're walking into." Hunter took the lead this time guiding the group through the forest, you saw a small light shinning above you squinted your eyes trying to focus on what it was.
That's when you saw it a group of people they didn't look like Separatist group at all.. "Tell me what you see Tech." Hunter said as he kneeled beside Tech "I'm clocking 25 heat signatures ahead but zero droids." Tech informed.
"Tarkin said insurgents, not droids." Crosshair said "Really Crosshair because from what it seems like those are innocent people." You said crossing your arms "I would have to agree." Echo said before taking another closer look "There are children down there." You froze it made you think back on Caleb.
"Children? Out here?" Hunter asked before taking a look as well "Something's not right.."
"What are you waiting for? Give the order.." Crosshair said, when you still saw Crosshair holding on his sniper rifle pointing it at them something in you snapped you used the force to push him away from the ledge.
The rest jumped at the sudden motion “Stand down Crosshair.” You warned you knew Crosshair was already glaring at you behind from his helmet as he got up, “you’re not our General anymore I don’t take orders from you.”
“I don’t care if you don’t see me as a General but I’m not going to stand around while you focus on hurting innocent people because Tarkin said something stupid.” Your hand hovered over your lightsaber “let’s just all calm down-“ Wrecker said trying to ease the situation.
“I am calm.” Crosshair said but not backing down completely “We’re going to finish the mission, make the call Hunter.”
You could see Hunter look between the both of you “We’re not alone. Stand down both of you.” Suddenly people jumped out from their hiding spots pointing blasters at you guys but you noticed they seemed to focus more on the others and not you.
“You heard him. Stand down.” Someone said still pointing their blaster “Let’s hear them out. Trust me.” Hunter said to the group the rest followed what he said but crosshair was the last one to put down his weapon.
They lead you out of the forest and to the camp that was nearby when you got a closer look at the people in the camp you noticed they didn’t look like Separatist at all which only meant Tarkin was lying..
“These aren’t Separatist.” Echo said to Hunter “They’re republic fights.”
Tech frowned “why would Tarkin send us to attack our own forces?” Suddenly you saw someone walk up to you guys “Because we refuse to fight for an Empire.” It was a young man but you didn’t recognize him “You’re Saw Guerra trained by Captain Rex and General Skywalker to fight for the Republic.”
“You know Rex and master Anakin?” You asked suddenly making Saw look over at you his eyes soften “my men tell me you’re a Jedi.” You nodded before showing him your lightsaber “I think you should take a look at this.” He tossed something at you.
When you caught it you noticed it was a holocron “only Jedi have access to these..where did you get this?” You saw his eyes show sympathy to you “We found a Jedi but..” he didn’t have to continue what he was going to say you knew what he meant by it.
Using the force you focused on the holocron it yielded to you opening “This is Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.” Your eyes widen as a projector of Obi-Wan appeared “I regret to report that both our Jedi Order and Republic have fallen with the dark shadow of the Empire rising to take their place. This message is warning and a reminder for any surviving Jedi trust in the force, do not return to the temple that time has passed and our future is uncertain. We will each be challenged our trust, our faith, our friendships but we must persevere and in time a New Hope will emerge.. May the force be with you always.”
The holocron turned off you didn’t even know what to say the Jedi order was gone? “He mentioned the Jedi temple.. what happened?” You asked Saw he nodded “The Empire took over it from what we can tell.. some Jedis were killed and others.. we can’t be sure.”
Your fears was true why was this happening? “You haven’t run into anymore other Jedis?” Saw shook his head “no.. you’ve been the first one in a while.” Damn it.
You noticed one of Saw’s people walk over to Hunter and remove his blaster before handing it to Saw he examined it for a bit “So, the newly declared empire sent you to wipe us out?” He asked “Well, we’re here to neutralize a group of insurgents.” Saw chuckled “well.. here we are. Including your former general, what are you going to do? Strike us down like you did the Jedi?” Saw asked.
“Is that a request?” Crosshair asked “Enough.” Hunter warned “We expected to find battle droids, not-“ “civilians? Times change, targets change. Why don’t you take a look at the insurgents you were sent to destroy, was it the same when you were ordered to strike down the Jedi when the empire told you to?” Saw asked furiously.
Your heart ached realizing that the Empire was targeting anyone who didn’t agree to their rules, but there was no one to fight against the empire..the Jedi order was gone. “Makes you wonder what else they’re lying about.” Saw gave you a quick glance one out of sympathy “let’s mobilize. Pack up the camp.”
The group started to collect their things you gave a quick look at Hunter before walking up to Saw “who are these people?” You asked Saw “Villagers, croppers, former Republic fighters, all now displaced refugees since Palpatine unjustly appointed himself as Emperor.” Saw said.
“According to reports, the Jedi made an attempt on the Supreme Chancellor’s life. His actions were a defensive measure.” Tech said you had to hold yourself back from rolling your eyes, thankfully Saw did it for you “And I figured you for the smart one. With the Jedi decimated and the clone army under his command, Palpatine will have control over the entire galaxy. Unless someone stops him.”
“The war is over.” Crosshair said “if we give up now, everything we fought for everyone we lost will have been for nothing. I won’t let that happen, the Clone Wars may have ended. But a civil war is about to begin.” Saw informed.
“With a handful of fighters and limited firepower? You don’t stand a chance.” Hunter says, “not alone we don’t.” “We should leave if we’re gonna make the rendezvous we do we do with them?”
Saw seemed to think for a moment “the clones once helped us free Onderon, so we’ll give them a choice. The old ways are done. You can either adapt and survive, or die with the past. The decision is yours.” Saw handed Hunter his blaster back before looking at you “Jedi.” You looked over at Saw “I know everything seems.. lost right now but survive and endure.” After that Saw leaves you look at the Holocron that he left behind for you.
You ignite your lightsaber and cut it into pieces so no one else would find it, “Are you alright?” Echo asked “no and I don’t think I ever will be.” You start heading back to the Marauder alone as the others follow behind you, not noticing a spy droid was following behind you guys informing Tarkin of your survival.
“At least with the republic we knew where we stood Tarkin and this Empire are a whole different story.” Tech said to the others “why are we debating this? We need to complete the mission.” You ended up toning out what crosshair was saying you knew it would lead to another fight, “wake up crosshair. They sent us to eliminate innocent civilians.” Echo argued.
“Who said they were innocent?” Crosshair questioned “what’s wrong with you?” Hunter suddenly snapped it even stopped you in your footsteps hearing him shout like that at crosshair “me? I’m following orders.” Crosshair argued back “exactly.” “Those insurgents are plotting against the Emperor. If you don’t have the stomach to do what needs to be done, then you’re not fit to lead this squad.” Crosshair said glaring at Hunter.
“Crosshair..“
“Don’t interfere in something that doesn’t involve you.” Crosshair warned you suddenly you heard a branch snapping, Hunter is quick to pull out his blaster and shoot at that direction “we’re being followed.” Is all Hunter said before going towards it.
The others follow behind him to investigate it but Crosshair stays put sending Hunter a glare “Crosshair?” When he turns to look at you could see his eyes relax for a moment “What?” He hissed out “are you alright?” He shrugs “some leader you have a crush on.” He mumbles and you roll your eyes at him “don’t start that now.”
He does a light chuckle “we’re brothers we fight.. let’s just go see what Hunter found.” Crosshair leads you to the others “That is a probe droid.” You hear Tech say “Tarkin is spying on us now?” Wrecker asked confused “The Jedi never did that.”
“Not that you know of.” Crosshair says you could see Echo throw a quick glare at Crosshair “Omega.” Hunter said as turned away from the probe droid “what about her?” Tech asked “she warned me about the mission and Tarkin. She said not to return to Kamino, that it’s not safe for us anymore.”
You were glad that at least someone on Kamino was realizing the truth about all of this.. “maybe she’s right.” Wrecker said as he went inside the ship “we’re taking a word of a child now?” Crosshair asked “I would not discount Omega’s insight a state of heightened awareness is not unusual for an enhanced clone as herself.” Tech informed.
“Clone?” You asked you heard Wrecker laugh “Good one, Tech. You almost had me.” Tech rolled his eyes “When Nala Se spoke about five clones, Tarkin assumed that meant us, but Echo’s a reg. The fifth is Omega.”
You never saw a girl clone before and you knew the Kiamanos never made a mistake.. you wondered what Nala Se’s intent was when she cloned Omega.. “and you waited until now to mention it?!” Echo said “well I thought it was obvious.” Tech replied “how is it obvious?!” Wrecker asked.
“Then we need to go rescue her.” You said looking at Hunter “if Tarkin was using a probe droid to follow us.. general that means..” Echo drifted off “he knows I’m a Jedi but if Omega is there then we need to get her out of there.” You said to the rest, “she’s right.” Hunter said as he starts heading inside the ship Crosshair cuts him off “disobeying orders again over a kid? Bad play, Hunter.”
Hunter glares at Crosshair before pushing his hand away “she’s one of us we’re not leaving her there.” Hunter pushed by Crosshair to enter the Marauder.
You hate how high the tension was between Hunter and Crosshair and you could only assume everyone else felt it as well carefully you went to go find Crosshair, while he wasn’t your favorite person right now you wanted to make sure he was alright.
You walked around the ship to find Crosshair sitting near a window cleaning his sniper rifle May the force protect you because you were scared to approach him at first. Slowly approaching him you called out his name his eyes glanced over at you for a moment “what is it?”
You frowned “you’ve been acting strange Y’know..” you mumbled out “I’ve been acting the same.” He snapped.
“No you haven’t Cross we’ve been traveling with each other for a long time I know when something isn’t right.” Crosshair stayed quiet he knew you weren’t wrong something in him felt strange but he couldn’t exactly pinpoint what he was feeling, “I’m fine just some migraines.”
He was avoiding the topic you wanted to press further but you relented “just let me know.” Was all you said before leaving crosshair alone in his thoughts.
You returned back to the cockpit with the others “General.” Echo called out to you “Yes? Also Echo you don’t have to call me General anymore..”
“Was it because of what General Kenobi said?” Tech asked and you nodded.
“But what does that mean for you?” Wrecker asked the others looked at you with concern “I’m not sure honestly I’m still trying to figure that out myself..” The Jedi order was gone so what did that make you? It was a question you couldn’t answer yourself.
“We’re approaching Kamino.” Tech says, Hunter looks over at you “we got this.” You said reassuring him “we’ll be quick in and out.” He says you nod “once you guys get outside I’ll get the ship ready.”
“We’ll tell Tarkin that you left the moment you spotted the probe droid.” Echo says to you as he gathers his things “he’ll probably find it suspicious but it’ll have to do.” You said.
You could hear the thunder outside of Kamino it felt like it was louder than before you watched as the rest of the group left the ship and headed inside you had your lightsaber ready to go in case anything went south, you listened to the rain gently pitter against the roof of the ship.
You decided to meditate to pass the time but something felt off anytime you would try to connect to the force it felt like something was blocking you out, you winced this has never happened to you before and it’s not like you could ask Obi-wan about this…
You looked over at your lightsaber that was sitting on the table near you when you used the force to pull it to you it worked, but why couldn’t you connect to it? Was it the fear of not knowing what would happen next that was preventing you?
You were going to try again until you suddenly hear the ship open making you quickly jump to your feet “you’re okay.” You heard Hunter’s voice before he entered the Marauder you sighed in relief “maker you guys are going to give me a heart attack one day.. not kidding.” Hunter chuckled.
“What happened in there exactly?” You asked “Tarkin knows you’re alive but he bought the idea of you leaving the moment you saw the probe droid.” Tech says as he hands Echo his armor “the Empire also deemed us traitors for letting you and Saw Guerra go.”
You nodded you scanned around the group and didn’t see Crosshair but before you could ask you noticed the little girl that you saw before she was already staring up at you carefully you approached her, “you’re Omega right?” She nodded and you smiled “nice to meet you Omega.”
“I remember you.”
You raised a brow, she remembers you?
“You visited with General Obi-Wan you’re his padawan right?” She asked and you nodded “I am.” She smiled at you.
“Where is it? It’s gotta be here somewhere.” You heard Wrecker say suddenly you noticed Omega leave your side for a moment and walk over to a stuffed toy that was on the ground.
“Tech power up the ship, the rest of us will go for Crosshair.” Hunter said “what exactly happened to him?” You asked him, “we’re not sure we were put in the brig and got separated from him.” You frowned when Hunter told you that.
Omega looked over at the doors her eyes widen “uh I don’t think we’ll have to go that far.” You heard the door whoosh open quickly you went to Omega gently pushing her over to cover.
You saw troopers enter the hanger their weapons were already pointed at you guys that’s when you saw crosshair enter as well but something wasn’t right “is that crosshair?” Wrecker asked.
Your heart was pounding against you rapidly Hunter stood from his hiding spot and walked a little bit towards Crosshair before stopping keep a well distance between the both of them, “Best stand down, Sergeant. Make it easy on yourself.”
“Have you lost your mind?!” Hunter shouted at him Crosshair remained stoic “General Tarkin wants the Jedi.” Your heart sank you already had your lightsaber in your hand, if it had to be so you’d fight before you let the empire take you.
“You disobeyed orders.”
“I did what I thought was right.” Hunter argued back. “You could never see the bigger picture. Now surrender.” Hunter looked back at his brothers they weren’t ready to surrender, his attention then turned to Omega and you.
He knew Omega would be taken back to Nala Se but he didn’t trust them either on what they wanted to do with Omega and he didn’t even want to think about what the Empire would do to you he saw the determination in your eyes, you weren’t backing down either even if it was Crosshair that was standing against you.
“Is that an order?”
Crosshair let out a soft chuckle “I guess it is.” “Well I guess I’m disobeying that one too.”
Omega looked over at you concerned what was going to happen next you tried giving her a reassuring smile, but honestly you were nervous yourself.
Crosshair took the first shot at Hunter you quickly used the force to push a create near them knocking a few troopers out in the process you carefully shielded Omega not long after Hunter joined the both of you.
One of the clone troopers tossed a smoke grenade in the middle of the floor you couldn’t see anything you didn’t realize that Crosshair was taking aim at Hunter until you actually saw Hunter dodge out of the way, when Crosshair tried again you quickly used your lightsaber to deflect the shot.
“Tech, we gotta move now!” Hunter said over the comms “I’m working on it.” “Wrecker clear the smoke on three.”
“You got it boss.” Wrecker says.
“Y/N.” Hunter said calling out your name and you nodded “I got you guys covered.” He nods “Omega, stay low.” Omega covered her ears as the shootings continued around you guys, “one.. two..”
“Three!” Wrecker shouted as he used two metal objects to clear the smoke before tossing one of it at the troopers and he tossed the other at crosshair.
Crosshair quickly dodged out of the way before aiming his sniper at Wrecker shooting at his shoulder, Wrecker let out a painful groan landing on his back Omega quickly tried rushing out to him.
“Omega don’t-“ Hunter tried to reach out to stop her you didn’t hesitate to cover Omega Crosshair shot at her and you quickly deflected it “Tech! Hate to rush you but we’re running out of time here!” You shouted.
“Almost got it!” You could hear the engine from the marauder start to turn on “Hunter! I have an idea but you’re probably going to hate it.” You said as you deflected another blaster shot, “Echo and you grab Wrecker and Omega I’ll use the crates to block their path.”
“What?” Hunter says worriedly, “won’t that use up your strength?” Echo chimed in “it will but it’ll also give us enough time to escape, all of us.” Hunter hesitated what if your plan failed and you got stuck on Kamino? “Hunter trust me.”
He reluctantly nodded “on my mark then.” You said as you waited for Crosshair to shoot at you again, you knew when you would deflect it he would get to cover quickly.
When Crosshair shot at you; you quickly deflected it before giving them the signal to go Hunter and Echo are quick to help Wrecker up to his feet and start leading him towards the marauder, you breath in deeply you remember the words that Obi-Wan first taught you about the force.
“The force is within you, around you, connecting you.” Focus you told yourself you stretched your hand out you could hear the crates shake as you focused on moving them, don’t falter now move! Suddenly all the crates went crashing to where crosshair was blocking his pathway.
“Yes!” You shouted “nice job let’s get going!” Echo said in the comms you ran to the marauder and jumped on, shit you actually needed to lie down for a bit you weren’t used to using the force like that.
“General we could use some help with aiding Wrecker.” Echo says as he looked down at you confused as to why you were lying on the ground “on it.” You mumbled.
You examined Wrecker’s shoulder thankfully it was just a graze and didn’t see any damage arteries “you’ll just need a stim Echo can you-“ Echo was quick to inject a Stim into Wrecker’s shoulder making him grunt out “you did that quick.” “Remember what happened last time?”
It took a lot of people to hold down Wrecker just for one shot that lasted 5 seconds…
Hunter handed you some bandages to wrap Wrecker’s shoulder “is this what you were looking for?” Omega said holding the stuffed animal she picked up Wrecker let out a gasp “you found my Lula.” While Omega had Wrecker distracted Echo used another Stim “ow!”
You heard Omega giggle “here hold still.” Tech said as he started to examine Wrecker “hey! Don’t examine me like I’m one of your computers!” “Just hold still-“ “get that thing away from me.” Wrecker continues to fight with Tech which made you roll your eyes.
Omega left your side for moment curiously heading to the pilot area of the Marauder Hunter soon followed after you smiled at the sight “here Wrecker let me see your arm.” Carefully you wrapped the bandage around Wrecker’s arm.
After you were done you gently pat his shoulder “see good as new.” Wrecker grumbled still upset after the two shots that Echo gave him.
Soon after Tech, Echo and Wrecker went up to the cockpit to join Omega and Hunter leaving you alone. You were glad that all of you were able to escape Kamino but you couldn’t help but think back on Crosshair, if he hesitated before to kill you he didn’t this time.
“Hey you didn’t want to join us up there?” Hunter asked as he joined your side “sorry I was just thinking..” you said as you organized the medical supplies back into the box “about?”
You sighed “Crosshair didn’t hesitate to hurt Wrecker or even shoot at Omega if I didn’t deflect that shot on time Omega could’ve gotten hurt.” You said as you crossed your arms “I’m just worried about him.”
You knew Hunter felt the same at the end of the day Crosshair was still his brother “i don’t know what’s coming next Hunter but it makes me worried.” You admitted as you pinched the bridge of your nose.
Hunter’s jaw tightened as he thought about what you were saying he knew what you meant because it was the same way he was feeling after fleeing Kamino, you suddenly felt Hunter gently tuck a lock of your hair behind your ear.
You stared up at Hunter you felt your cheeks flush “we can get through it together.” Before you could say something back you heard Echo call for Hunter you quickly jumped away from him putting a good distance between the both of you.
“Was I interrupting something?”
“No.” You and Hunter quickly said “ookay I was just coming to ask if you knew where we should head to?” Hunter seemed to think for a bit “Actually yeah there’s someone who can help us.” You titled your head “who?” Hunter smiled “you’ll see when we get there.”

The Ghost crew are finally able to rest after countless missions across the galaxy. Been gone away from Lothal for far too long - four months to be exact. To enjoy their freedom, everyone has gone off to enjoy their day. Kanan and Hera have gone on a date to some nearby markets, getting some food and supplies for the crew. While everyone else stayed on the ship. Sabine is in her room creating many art designs, Zeb is sleeping like always, and Ezra is playing with the loth cats just outside the ship. That leaves you, sitting in the cockpit, staring at the picturesque sky, as the sun sets. Humming to your favourite tune. Calmness and comfort spreading through your body like wildfire.
Yet the calmness disappears after hearing Chopper’s beeps, annoying the peaceful experience you were having.
“Go away, Chop.” You requested, looking over your shoulder to Chopper. Rolling your eyes, you look back to the window, admiring the view again.
Two minutes of peace goes by when Chopper is back to being annoying again.
“What now Chop?” You yelled, just wanting Chopper to be gone for a moment.
Chopper beeps angrily at you, attitude and ego exceeding high levels.
“What do you mean you sound better than me? You’re a droid, for fucks sake!” You responded back, shoulders slumping back.
He beeps back at you defensively. Trying to prove his point. Terribly.
The two of you continue arguing with each other, piquing your boyfriend’s interest. Your voice against Chopper’s silences the sound coming from Ezra’s footsteps.
“You know what I am done arguing with you Chop.” Ezra heard you say just before Chopper beeps back at you again.
You rolled your eyes, walking back to your seat, sighing in exhaustion. To overcome your annoyance of the argument and Chopper, you go back to humming, staring at the sky. Hearing the footsteps of Ezra entering the cockpit, you spin around in your chair facing him, giving him a smile, he walks over and sits on the seat next to you.
“You alright?” He asked, glancing over towards you, but then going back to staring into the sky just like you.
“Yeah, just Chop's being annoying.” Silence fills up the room after you replied. No sounds to be heard, except for you quietly humming.
“Hey, babe, why do you always hum that tune? I hear it all the time coming from your mouth.” Ezra spoke up, after a couple minutes hearing you hum.
You turn to look at him, surprised why he is asking this question so late into your relationship. As you have been dating for more than a couple months now. He stares at you, waiting for an answer, but when you are still frozen in shock he places a hand over your, with his other hand cupping your cheek.
“If you don't want to talk about it that’s fine.” He said, rubbing his hands softly against your skin. You lean into his comforting touch, before sighing.
Looking into his eyes, you started speaking. “It was what my parents would sing to me and my siblings everyday, and it makes me feel closer to them.”
“Wait, you have siblings? How come you never talk about them” He interrogated, excitement bubbling inside of him, wanting to meet your family.
“They are dead.” His face drops. He apologizes, squeezing your hand in comfort.
“If you don't mind me asking, what happened to them?” Ezra can’t believe that he has been dating you for this long and didn't know about your family.
“You know how I am a Jedi? Well the Sith hunted me and my family down once the Republic went down.” Your body slumped, your mind flashing to multiple memories.
―୨❀୧―
It has been a few weeks since you and your family have been last hunted down. The last time you guys encountered the Sith, all your siblings died.
There is no time for thoughts though, as the front door bangs open. Firing squads ready to aim. Your parents draw out their lightsabers, wanting, needing to protect the last little bit of light in their world. You.
“Y/M/N, run, take her with you!” Your father yelled, heading towards the front door, ready to defend you and your mother.
Your mother grabs you by your hand, listening to your father’s words. Running towards your bedroom, your mother places you on her lap, humming a very familiar tune. Trying to get your attention away from your father’s situation.
A commander's words of ‘fire’ echo around the house. Gun shots could be heard, alongside your father’s screams of anguish and pain as he became weaker, unable to defend anymore.
Hearing your father's body drop to the floor, sounded like a bomb went off for both you and your mother. Your mother reacted quickly, pushing you to the back door.
Soldier’s footsteps filled the house.
“Go! Go now!” Your mother screamed as she pushed you outside. Your mother looked behind her back, soldiers coming closer.
“Run now, please!” Your mother continued to beg, before closing the door, to limit the soldier’s access to you.
You ran away, listening to your mothers words, as they echoed in your head, tears falling down your face.
Soldiers' commands could be heard as they chased after you.
―୨❀୧―
“Hey, hey, Y/N? Baby? Breathe with me.” Ezra said, snapping you out of your dream.
Listening to him, your heart settles, you look at him graciously, thank him, before hugging yourself, humming an over familiar tune.
Ezra stares at you, continuing to hold your hand. Closing his eyes, he rests his head back, loving the sound of your voice.

You were meditating on the balcony of your apartment. Just a few hours ago you had returned home from an Outer Rim mission. The mission had taken a couple of weeks, but you weren’t alone. The council had sent not only you but Obi-Wan as well in hunt for some sacred artifacts. You were successful and it was over all too quickly. All too quickly in your opinion at least. You had a hunch that Obi-Wan believed the mission felt like an eternity.
You couldn’t help but to smirk as you thought of Obi-Wan’s annoyed expression that was practically etched on his face through the duration of you time together. Obi-Wan was Mr. Serious with a side of sarcasm. You were part playful and part flirtatious. Since it was just you and Obi-Wan, your fellow Jedi got the brunt of your flirtatious comments.
Normally Obi-Wan didn’t mind your comments but that was only when you were otherwise occupied, and the comments were sparse. However, wandering around practically deserted worlds left Obi-Wan to be your sole entertainment.
When you returned to the Jedi temple you and Obi-Wan retold the professional side of the mission before departing. Obi-Wan didn’t hesitate to return to his private quarters which disappointed you a little bit. Towards the end of the mission, you felt as if you were growing on him.
Although, you could have misinterpreted him when he snipped out ‘oh, bite me’. You remember when Obi-Wan said the words. The two of you were in a cave and Obi-Wan was intensely examining the markings on the wall. You held no interest in the markings so you continued to pester the handsome man. You were teasing him to be exact when he said them.
“Oh, bite me,” Obi-Wan snapped and continued to focus on the wall in front of him. You were momentarily silenced by his words before a devious grin crossed your face. Obi-Wan had wrongfully thought that you were done bothering him for the time being. He thought he had finally pushed you away enough to be able to concentrate on the task at hand. He couldn’t have been more wrong.
Instead of leaving him to his devices, like he thought he wanted but you knew better, you walked up to him. His body tensed when he felt you press against him. You teasingly nudged his head with yours lips brushing against his ear.
“Don’t tempt me, my darling,” You growled lowly. You chuckled when you heard his breath hitch. You stayed there for a moment longer before stepping away from him. You let him work in peace for the next couple of hours knowing even in your silence you were infiltrating his thoughts.
You had hoped when you returned that he would be more willing to spend time with you, but it was quite the opposite, and you didn’t take it to heart too much. You knew Obi-Wan needed time to process everything that happened. Now that he didn’t have a mission to keep his mind occupied, he would have no other choice than to process.
He didn’t come to you that day nor the day after. It wouldn’t be till the next week that you found Obi-Wan. You were walking down the hallway in search of your padawan when Anakin and Obi-Wan turned out of a corridor and towards you. A smirk instantly came to your face and when Anakin spotted you his expression mirrored yours.
“Well, will you look who it is, Master Obi-Wan,” Anakin practically shouted. Obi-Wan looked startled at Anakin before looking at you. His heart stopped and a blush came to his cheeks.
“Anakin,” You greeted coming to a stop in front of them. “Master Kenobi,” You greeted lowering your voice.
“Well,” Anakin claps his hands. “I should get going,” Anakin spins on his heels and is gone in seconds leaving you alone with Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan clears his throat and looks around awkwardly.
“You were headed this way?” You turned around and walked with him down the way you came. Obi-Wan is hesitant but follows beside you. “Are you going back to the front?” You ask.
“Not for another week,” Obi-Wan says. “And you?” He asks, slightly awkwardly. You smirked at him enjoying the tension.
“Tomorrow,” you tell him. His head snaps over. “I was just on my way to find my padawan to make sure they were ready to leave,”
“Oh, well then, I shouldn’t keep you. You must have lots to do before you depart,” Obi-Wan nods to you before turning to take his leave. You grab his wrist before he could take two steps. Obi-Wan glances at your hand before looking into your eyes.
“I’d like some company,” you tell him softly. Obi-Wan relaxes before slowly nodding. You smile leading him down the hallway. You start up a small conversation with him. One of the rare conversations where it’s genuine and not constantly flirty.
“Are these your quarters?” Obi-Wan asks when the both of you stop outside a door. You slowly nod.
“I still have to pack... Would you like to accompany me?” You ask. Obi-Wan debates it in his head. “No funny business. Jedi’s honor,” You tease smiling at him. Obi-Wan relaxes and eventually agrees. The two of you enter the room and you close the door. “Make yourself comfortable,”
“This is... really nice,” Obi-Wan states.
“Don’t sound so surprised,” You chuckle walking to your room. Obi-Wan slowly follows you. “You have this look of wonder on your face,” You tease. “What? Didn’t expect everything to be so organized?” you ask him.
“Organized and decorated,” Obi-Wan notes looking at the art on the wall. You look at the painting he’s looking at.
“Compliments of my padawan,” Obi-Wan glances at you and you sit on the bed. “My padawan struggles with being so far from home. They don’t necessarily remember it and I think that’s why it’s so hard on them. So, in an attempt to help them adjust I try to make this like home for them. Of course, they have their own room but not only are they conflicted with their loss of home world memories but with the war as well. They have trouble sleeping and I know we shouldn’t form attachments, but everyone deserves at least one person they can rely on for everything. As their Master I plan on being anything they need,”
Obi-Wan smiles at you with a tenderness you weren’t used too from him. Instead of reprimanding you for being too close to your padawan he simply closes the distance between you and him. Your heart beats a little faster the closer he gets and for the first time you don’t feel like the predator.
When he gets close enough you open your legs so he can walk between them. He carefully cups the side of your jaw with one hand, rubbing your skin with his thumb. A moment later his other hand cups your cheek.
“Let me kiss you,” You whisper, gripping his hips. Obi-Wan looks at you for a moment before nodding slightly. You smirk standing from the bed invading his personal space. You don’t hesitate to lift your hands and pull his head to yours.
His lips feel perfect against yours. You couldn’t help but to grin as his beard tickles your skin. You could feel the tension leaving not only your body but his. You grip his waist and he leans into you.
“I know I said no funny business,” You panted pulling from his lips. “But I really wanna take that back,” You state grinning. Obi-Wan seems hesitant which makes you want to pull away but before you can he’s pulling your blips back to his.
Taking that as a go ahead, you swivel your bodies and shove him on the bed. His breath hitches as he falls back. You smirk and instantly climb on top of him. The two of you get tangled trying to take off each other’s robes which causes you both to laugh a bit.
“I’ve wanted this for a while,” You whisper looking at Obi-Wan’s bare chest. He grins up at you and shamelessly runs his hand over your body. “So handsome,” You whisper, pressing your chest against his. “So, where do you want?” You ask, licking your lips. Obi-Wan gives you one of his curiously innocent looks. You couldn’t help but to smirk down at him. You couldn’t wait to taint that innocence. “When we were on our mission you told me something,” You whisper, lowering your head closer to his. Your lips brush against his ear and you can hear his breathing quicken. “Do you remember?”
Obi-Wan pants quietly. You know he remembers but he’s too… reserved to admit something like that aloud at the moment. Back then it was an off-handed remark but now it had his cheeks blushing.
You kissed down his throat lightly waiting for him to tell you what you wanted to hear. If he didn’t speak up soon you’d make him beg for his mark. Or maybe you’d still make him beg either way. You bet he had a beautiful begging voice.
You notice Obi-Wan bitting his lip when your hand traveled between your bodies and to his nether regions. He tries to hold it back but a beautiful moan escapes his lips when you palm him. His dick grows hard in your hand. You keep your grip just firm enough to leave him wanting more.
“What did you say in that cave? What did you tell me to do?” You whisper, enjoying his unease far too much. You knew after tonight he’d watch what he says around you and in return you’d make it your mission to get him flustered at every turn. “If you don’t give me some direction, I’m afraid I won’t know what to do,” You sigh teasingly. He whines but cuts it off when he realizes what noise he had made. You chuckle and kiss his cheek. “Come on, love, you can tell me… It’s just us here,”
“Bite me,” He whispers too low for your liking. You hum questionably wondering if you could get him to say it again. You slow your hand movements and loosen your grip as if you were about to let go. “Bite me!” Obi-Wan pleads loudly.
“Good boy,” You reward him by tightening your grip and picking up the pace. He sighs in relief before moaning loudly. “Now, where do you want it?” You ask him. “Do you want it where the whole council can see?” You wonder, lightly pecking just under his jaw. “You’ll be the center of gossip around the temple. Would you like that, sweetheart? Would you like being a mystery? Everyone would wonder who had given it to you and everyone would know you were thoroughly satisfied,” Obi-Wan whimpers, bucking his hips into your hand. “Or do you want to keep it more private?” You question, lowering your head down his body to kiss his chest. “Do you want to keep our affair all to yourself? Your dirty little secret? Will I live forever in your mind with no one else knowing about us? I can be your dirty secret, Master Kenobi,” You hum.
“I want you to myself,” Obi-Wan pants, staring into your eyes. Your head moves back up to his, hovering over him. “I don’t want to share anything about you. I want you to be mine and mine alone,”
“Shh, I’m yours,” You whisper, brushing your lips against his. “Everything about me is yours,” You press your lips to his a little more firmly. Obi-Wan claws at your back needing more skin-to-skin contact. “And everything about you is mine,” You growl, staring possessively into his eyes. “Every touch, every moan, and every orgasm belongs to me,” Obi-Wan didn’t even notice himself nodding in agreement. He’d do anything to get you to just keep making him feel good.
You respected his wishes about wanting to keep everything about tonight a secret. You kept you marks in places easily hidden but you didn’t stop with just one. You littered his chest and abdomen with beautiful bites. Every one you placed had him moaning and pleading for more.
“Please,” Obi-Wan pleads, feeling his release coming. You smirk watching him intently as your jerk him off even faster. His face screws and he pants even harder. “Please, please, please, please….” He repeats the words under his breath knowing that if you stopped, if he didn’t get his release, he would cry and possibly just strangle you in frustration.
You chuckle, as if reading his thoughts. You don’t deny him his orgasm. You keep rubbing him until he’s spraying all over his own chest. You groan watching his cum cover his bruised chest.
“You look delicious,” You growl, pumping every ounce of cum from his cock. “Delicious enough to eat,” You smirk lowering your head down to his chest. You lick and suckle every inch of him. You were going to make good on your promise to mark him up. How could you not with him laying so beautifully beneath you?

Ben twisted and turned in his bed as flashes of his past life haunted him. It was so intense that he could feel the heat of Mustafar roasting his skin. Seeing the faces of Anakin and Padme and Qui-Gon only brought the grief and pain he's tried to move past back to the surface. Before the tormenting memories could force him to wake a sudden peace washed over him.
All at once his body loses tension. The images of Mustafar, Tatooine, and Coruscant wash away and are replaced with the beaches on Scarif. Scarif was very beautiful back then but just like when he experienced this moment for the first time he wasn't focusing on the scenery. No, he was focused on you.
The two of you had been on an assignment together. You were searching for information and had succeeded. He was prepared to leave immediately but you had asked him to stay one more night. He never had the ability to say no to you.
It was one of the rare occasions - at least before the war - where he saw you in something other than your Jedi robes. You had gotten the proper attire for a swim through some of the natives. He found it impossible to take his eyes off of you.
"Obi-Wan..." You called out. Your voice as smooth as honey and as sweet as candy. It feels so nice to hear his name come from your lips again.
You gave him your charming smile offering your hand out to him. He hears himself laughing and shakes his head. You pout and continue to insist.
Unsurprisingly, he joins you in the water. Neither of you went deep, just up to your thighs. He couldn't stop himself from clasping his hand around yours allowing you to pull him close.
"I wish we could stay here forever," You whisper to him.
You weren't together. Not officially. It was against the Jedi code but the attraction between you two couldn't be denied. Usually, you both were good at controlling yourself but then moments like these came around. Moments too perfect to pass up.
"Where would we live?" Obi-Wan asks, indulging your fantasy. You hum, holding his hand with yours and draping your other arm around his neck.
"Over there," You whisper, nodding towards the hillside. "We'll have a small shack facing the water. We'll tea in the morning and watch the sunrise. You could teach the local younglings and I could work in the market,"
"What a life we would have," He whispers, pressing his head against yours. You hum intertwining your fingers with his.
"I've almost found you," You mutter to him. The words almost don't register to him. You didn't tell him that before?
"What did you say?" He asks, leaning his head back. You just smile sweetly at him. Both of your hands find their way to the sides of his face.
"Just wait a little longer darling," You plead. "I'm almost there,"
"What are you talking about?" He asks, holding you desperately.
"We'll be together soon,"
Once the words leave your mouth his eyes snap open. No longer is he on the beaches of Scarif but in his cave on Tatooine.
'We'll be together soon,'
Your voice echoes in his head as the dream begins to fade from his mind. He sits up quickly as a surge of panic rushes through him. He didn't want to forget the dream. He didn't want to forget the feel of your skin against his or the sound of your voice.
As the years passed it was harder to remember the finer details about you. As he began to forget the specifics of his dream, he forgot the sound of your voice and the color of your eyes.
"Please don't leave me," Ben begs quietly to the memory of you. No matter how hard he tries you slip away but your words don't leave him.
'We'll be together soon,'
You hadn't said that on Scarif that day. He doesn't remember what you said exactly but he knew it wasn't that. So, why did he dream of it? What did it mean?
Every night - after the never-ending nightmares - he dreams of you. He dreams of Scarif, the beaches, and the sound of your voice. You promise him the same thing every time yet every morning he wakes up more devastated than the last when he remembers he's alone and you're gone.
Still... he can't stop himself from hope. He knows how dangerous hope is but nonetheless it begins to take root in his heart. Every morning he hopes you'll walk into his cave and you two can be together.
This time things will be different. This time he won't let you go. He won't let some Jedi order keep the two of you apart nor will he let a war tear you away. He'll keep you with him, always.
You just have to come back to him.
Then his old friend, Bail Organa, calls on him. He begs for his help, but Ben turns him away. He can't leave Tatooine. His mission it to protect and look after Luke. He has to look after the boy and keep hm safe.
But there's another reason. Something he feels is more selfish. He can't leave while there's hope that you'll find him here. What if he goes looking for Leia and you come here only to find him gone? He could miss his chance. He couldn't do it. No, he couldn't risk missing you.
Only when Bail finds his cave can he no longer turn him away. He agrees to find Leia. He retrieves the lightsabers and returns to the cave one final time.
"My beloved, Y/n," Ben speaks into the recorder. He pauses for a moment. "I've had dreams..." He whispers. "I pray... and I hope that they're real. I hope that you will come find me and that you weren't lost during the..." Ben's words fail him as the unwanted memories come back to him. He pushes them away and continues on. "I've waited on Tatooine for a long time but something dire is drawing me away. I don't know how long I will be gone but I will come back. I hope I am not too late to be here with you but if I am, know that I love you. I never stopped and I never will. When I am done with this assignment, I vow that I will look for you. I'm just sorry it took me so long to search for you in the first place... I thought hope had been lost... But now I believe it isn't. If you're out there, I will find you, sweetheart. We'll have our home together; I'll make sure of it"
When Ben ended the message, he stayed by the droid for a few more moments. There was a part of him that hoped you would come rushing up as he left. He waited for as long as he could but eventually, he left the cave and then the planet. The entire time he looked over his shoulder hoping to see you and his heart grew heavier every time he just saw coarse sand.
Even as the ship left the system, he had hope that he'd see you again. For the first time in a decade, he believed you were out there. He vows to himself he will find you.

“You’re staring,” Poe mutters from his spot on the bed. His hands under his head with his ankles crossed and eyes closed. He had some down time and decided to spend it with you in your private room as you attempted to get paperwork done.
You were working on a transfer order, but you couldn’t stop looking at Poe. Your mind was running wild preventing you from focusing. At first your eyes would bounce from the paperwork to Poe but now you realized you had begun to stare while being lost in your thoughts.
“I thought you were sleeping,” You muttered.
“It’s alright,” He smirks. “You can stare at me anytime,” You instantly scoff but the smile on your lips betrays you. He opens one eye and peaks over at you. “You’ve been quiet the last few days” he says masking his concern with nonchalance.
“I never told you how Leia found me,” you say randomly. Both of Poe’s eyes open and his head turns to you. “Well, technically she didn’t find me... It was Ben,” You whisper.
“Ben?” Poe asks, sitting up and swinging his legs over the side of the bed.
“Leia’s son,” You explain, although you had a feeling, he knew who Ben was. He had to have been living beyond the Outer Rim to not have heard the story of Ben Solo. “I had to have been... around five years old when my family was killed. My father wasn’t the kind family man I had known him to be and one day his enemies found him. I don’t really remember it but I remember my dad telling me that we were gonna play another game of hide-and-go-seek but I couldn’t come out no matter what... I still dream about that night... I never remember the dream but when I wake up, I just have this feeling of dread and... this deep fear... I escaped when the bad men left and had been living on the streets when Ben found me,”
Poe debated with himself on whether he should stay on the bed and keep his distance or move closer to you. The cold monotone in your voice was your way of keeping control of your emotions. Poe saw right through it like he saw through everything. In the end he walked over to your side of the desk and hopped on top. The fact that you didn’t scold him for sitting on your paperwork was a red flag.
“Leia and Han were on my home planet for some kind of business and Ben had wandered off. When he came across me, he had an apple in his hand and I was so hungry I stole it from him,” you say, a soft smile coming to your lips.
“Even back then you were a troublemaker,” Poe comments smirking fondly.
“Yeah,” You laugh softly. “I guess so,” You agreed winking at him. “But I didn’t just steal it from him like any normal kid... I didn’t even move when I did it,” you said, muttering the last part. Poe’s eyebrows pinch together until you use the force to bring the holopad from the bedside table to the desk.
“You’re a jedi,” Poe breathes, his eyes widening a smudge.
“Not exactly,” you say. “I never completed my training,”
“Because Ben-”
“Because of Luke,” You snapped, your eyes turning furious within a second. Poe leans back not expecting the sudden change. You took a calming breath before continuing. “Ben always struggled with control and balance, but he wasn’t bad,” You declared defensively. “Everything that happened; the burning of the temples, Ben’s betrayal, Luke’s exile... everything that happened that night was Luke’s fault,” You emphasized.
You stand from your desk and walk around it. Poe turns to keep his gaze on you. You pace in front of him as you remember the screams and the flames and the look on Ben’s face.
“Luke could sense Ben’s struggle and instead of helping him, instead of bringing him back to the light, do you know what Luke’s decision was?” You ask, turning to him. Poe slowly shakes his head. “Luke tried to kill Ben,” Poe’s head lifts and his back straightens. “Luke claims at the last minute he had changed his mind, but the damage was done. Ben turned and everything was destroyed because Luke is a coward.”
“I never knew that” Poe admits.
“Because the only people who know are me, Han and Leia,” you tell him. “And as you can guess Han and Leia would rather keep Luke innocent in the eyes of the people. They claim that Luke had made a mistake and that if the galaxy knew then people would lose faith in the Republic, in the resistance. So, the truth was buried so deep that they forgot that Ben’s the victim not Luke,”
“So, Ben joins the First Order, Luke disappears, and you join the Resistance,” He summarizes. You nod slowly.
“I had just lost my brother and until that night I had considered Luke to be somewhat of a father figure. I lost them both in one night,” You whisper, hugging yourself. “When I returned to tell Han and Leia what had happened everything changed again. Han and Leia slowly fell apart until one night Han just disappeared and Leia threw herself into her work. So, to keep myself busy and I followed in Leia’s footsteps. I moved rank quickly,”
“And then you met a handsome devil fresh from the Republic,” Poe states, hopping off the desk. The both of you begin to smirk as he moves right in front of you. “And you couldn’t stop from throwing yourself at him so many times that he agreed to be with you out of pity,”
“Oh, is that how it happened?” You ask, draping your arms around his neck. “I don’t remember it like that,”
“Oh, that is most definitely how things happened,” Poe nods, resting his hands on your hips. “Is this what has been on your mind lately?” He asks. “You wanted to tell me this?”
“Yes and no,” you mutter, and he nods for you to continue. “With the force comes special tricks,” You explain thinking of the easiest way to explain this to him. “Remember when Snap and I were a few days late about a month ago?” You ask and he nods instantly. “I was able to touch you through the force... Everyone has a signature, and I was able to find yours. I’m not very good at it yet but I’m hoping that with time I’ll be able to find you and you’ll be able to feel me as well,”
“You’re amazing,” Poe whispers kissing your forehead. “What else can you do with those freaky powers of yours?”
“I can do...” You whisper pecking his lips. “... a lot of things,” You wink at him.
“Kinky,” He whispers wiggling his eyebrows. You laugh hitting is arm, stepping out of his embrace.
“You’re a dork,” You laugh walking back to the desk.
“Oh, come on, you hint about... you know... the force,” He whispers as if it’s some big secret. You raise your eyebrows at him. “And now you’re going back to work?”
“I’d assume you’d want me to go back to work,” you said walking around the desk and retaking your seat. You pick up the transfer order and hold it out. He eyes it before slowly taking the paper. His eyebrows pinch more furiously before his entire face relaxes and his eyes snap to yours.
“You’re stepping down?” He asks.
“In a way,” You nod. “I’ll be transferring to the war room, so I won’t need my own squadron. I’ll be in charge of all of them,”
“You already are in charge of them all,” Poe deadpans.
“But now it’s official,” you tell him. “And when I finish, you’ll officially be in charge of Black Squadron,” Poe grins widely. He set the paper down and walks around the desk. You assume he’s going to sit on the desk again, but he pulls you rollie chair back. “What are you doing?” You ask, laughing as he straddles your lap.
“I’m thanking you,” he declares.
“Oh, yeah?” You mutter and he hums leaning down to kiss you.

She sees a small squadron of Stormtroopers marching around the streets. They're patrolling too close to their ship to get inside unseen. Besides, Jeana could sense someone out there. Someone stronger than a handful of troopers.
"We can't stay here much longer," Talmotta, a Twi'lek, mutters to Jeana. Talmotta had been weeks from becoming a padawan when the Republic fell and the Jedi were slaughtered.
Other than her and him there were half a dozen of younglings ranging from the age of five to eight years old. Their mission is to return them to the homes the Jedi had taken them from. It was you last instruction to Jeana and she didn't want to disappoint you.
However, returning the children back to their homes proved to be difficult but not impossible. Thankfully, Jeana has been able to return nearly all the younglings with the small group huddled behind her being the only few left.
In the beginning, it had been relatively easy. The Empire was still finding it's footing and settling in the galaxy to pay much attention to Jeana and her mission. Now it's been nearly a year since the fall of the Republic and traveling from planet to planet has become more dangerous.
"Remember, my padawan, there is always another way," You voice whispers to Jeana. Your former padawan feels a warm comforting feeling wash over her as if you were standing right beside her. "Focus with the Force. Let it guide you," You instruct.
These are words that you have spoken to her on more than one occasion. While she wanted to believe you were with her she wrote off the voice to old memories resurfacing. Either way, she listened.
Taking a deep breath she tunes into the force. When she refocuses the path is clear. She whispers the plan to Talmotta who nods in agreement.
"Be swift, the opening will not last," You advise. This was too specific for Jeana to write off as a memory.
"Master?" She asks, looking for you. She prayed you were alive. She hoped you had escaped Anakin and Coruscant. She hoped you were somewhere out in the galaxy with Obi-Wan living a happy life. She had known about your romantic feelings for the other Jedi Master and hoped that since the Jedi were no more that you would finally indulge in your own happiness.
"I am always with you," You tell her. "Now move,"
"Let's go," Jeana snaps into action.
Swiftly, the group moved from their hiding spot and slipped into the crowd. Talmotta and Jeana split the group, each taking three younglings. Talmotta made it to the ship with ease but Jeana was not so lucky.
"Identification papers," A trooper demands, stepping in front of Jeana.
"You don't need our papers," Jeana says, using the force to trick his mind. With her focus on the trooper she failed to notice how the area around them was becoming empty. The people were leaving hastily.
"I don't need your papers," The trooper repeats.
"You'll let us go," Jeana continues.
"You're free to go," He steps to the side and Jeana ushers the children toward the ship. As they were stepping up the ramp, Jeana freezes.
"No," She whispers. She slowly turns and at the end of the paddock stands Anakin Skywalker, now known as Darth Vader.
Pure fear strikes through her very core. She knew that he recognized her. How could he not? She had been his sisters padawan. You and her along with him and Ahsoka had gone on many missions together.
She also knew that he knew that she was tasked with getting the children back to their families. Which meant he knows that the ship is filled with force sensitive children. The one thing he wants to destroy.
"Hand over the children and surrender," Vader orders.
"Get on the ship," You tell her. Jeana searches for you subtly but doesn't see you anywhere. "No offense, my padawan, but you're no match for him. He'll cut you down," You say before materializing in front of her. Jeana gasps. "Just as he did me,"
"No," Jeana whispers, tears instantly filling her eyes. "No, master, you can't be," Jeana whimpers, covering her mouth.
"Shh, hold it together just a little longer, my padawan," You say, gently. You step closer to her. "I'm so proud of you. You're doing so well but we don't have time right now. Get on the ship and continue your mission. I'll give you as much time as I can but you have to go,"
"Yes, Master," Jeana nods, forcing herself to remain calm and focused.
"Now go," You encourage. Jeana stares at you for a moment longer before stepping onto the ship. The instant she's off the ramp you use the force to close it to prevent her from taking a second look. You then face your brother.
"Impossible," Vader says, taking out his saber. "You died in the temple,"
"Brother, you have no idea what's possible," You tell him. "You've caused enough death and destruction. I will not allow you to kill these children,"
"How can you stop me?" Vader asks.
"I may have died the last time I faced you but I accomplished my goal. I have stopped you once, do not doubt I can do it again," You warn him. Behind you the ship begins to lift off the ground.
Vader orders a strike on it but every bullet and missile that's scent at the craft is redirected. You keeps your eyes on Vader while using the force to keep the ship safe while also giving it a boost to leave faster.
"Tell me, brother, have you accomplished any of your goals? Or have you just been a constant failure?"
"I have destroyed the Jedi," Vader says and you smirk.
"As long as there's hope and those with the force, the Jedi are never gone," You tell him. "You will spend your life in darkness where nothing will ever be enough. You will have nothing to fight for but power and that will be taken from you soon enough," You say.
"You underestimate the power of the dark side," Vader says.
"And you put far too much trust in your master," You spit. "I pity you, Anakin. You once had love and happiness but now you will live with neither. What an empty life you'll have," You say before disappearing.

Jeana shifts in the pilot's seat. The younglings have long since fallen asleep in the back and Talmotta's searching for a midnight snack. In front of her is the blue streaks of hyperspace.
She replays what had happened before take off. You had appeared to her. You had protected them against Vader yet again. While she is relieved to have had your help she can't help but to mourn.
Now she knows that you are truly dead. Before she had hope but now there is none. Now she knows you aren't on some beautiful planet, far away from the galaxy's problems, lounging with Obi-Wan.
"Don't cry for me, please," You whisper, appearing in the co-pilot's seat. Jeana's head snaps towards you,
"Y/n," She whispers. You smile and give her a soft nod. "How is this possible?" She asks.
"It's no easy feat, I'll tell you that," You say, smirking a bit. "But I can direct you to a place where you can learn this. If you wish to continue your Jedi training," You tell her.
"Continue?" She asks, her eyes going distant. "I haven't thought about what happens next," She admits quietly.
"And that's alright," You promise her. "Everything has changed so suddenly. It's ok to not know your next move," She sends you a small shy smile. "As sad as this time has become look at it as a way to become someone new, if you wish," You say. "You can be whoever you want and do whatever you want,"
"There's whispers of a rebellion forming," She tells you. "But my family... They want me to return to them when the mission is over," She says. She sighs heavily and hangs her head. "What would you do?" She asks.
"The majority of my jedi career has been spent fighting for what I believe in. Are the Jedi meant to be soldiers? No but that's what the time called for so that's what we became. Being a fighter is who I always will be,"
"You'd join the rebellion," Jeana says.
"I believe joining them would be inevitable, yes," You nod. "Right away? No," She looks at you. "Jeana, I may act like I have all the answers, but I don't. I pretend to always know what I'm doing but most of the time I'm improvising. Honestly, I would be as lost as you are right now," You tell her truthfully.
"You know, I hoped you had lived," She says. "When I thought of you I imagined you with Obi-Wan. Living a peaceful life with him,"
"You knew about Obi-Wan?" You ask her. She smirks.
"You're as subtle as Anakin and Padme," She says and you laugh a bit.
"Anakin had tried to convince both Obi-Wan and me to forsake the code. He wanted us to be together in secret like him and Padme but that wasn't who we were," You explain to her. "Now, I wish we had. I wish we gave ourselves the moments of affection we craved,"
"I'm sorry you didn't," She says, quietly.
"Me too," You say just as softly. "Jeana, I may be dead but I will always be with you," You tell her.
"Don't leave," She begs softly. "I can't do this without you. I miss you,"
"And I miss you... So much," You say, reaching to caress her cheek. There's a light touch but it's enough for Jeana to feel. "I love you, my padawan. If you wish to continue your studies go to Dagobah. There's you'll find Master Yoda,"
"I don't want another master," She shakes her head, the tears coming back. "I want you,"
"I'm so sorry," You whisper to her. "I wish I could teach you but I can't. Just remember, you don't have to be a Jedi. You can be whoever you want to be. Whatever you choose, just know that I will always love you and I will forever be proud," Jeana smiles through her tears. "I'm right here," You promise, pressing a hand to her heart. You fade quickly bringing a new batch of tears to Jeana's eyes.
"Goodbye," Jeana whispers for the second time.

When you reappear you're in a cave. It's damp but cool compared to the desert outside. There's a small bed and a small seating area. Perfect for one isolated man.
In front of you sits, Obi-Wan Kenobi. He sits with his back straight and his eyes closed. He's meditating.
You mimic is position but you don't close your eyes. You don't know how long you'll have the strength to stay in this world. You don't want to look away from him. You don't know when you'll see him again.
"You've always looked handsome but I must say that age treats you well," You whisper softly. His eyes open and for a moment you can tell he doesn't believe you're really there. "Hello, my love," You greet.
"Y/n," He breathes. "So beautiful,"
"Always the charmer," You laugh softly. "I miss you,"
"You have no idea," He says, shaking his head. "I'm sorry, Y/n. I'm sorry I wasn't there. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you,"
"Shh, sweetheart, shh," You whisper, moving closer to him. You kneel as close as possible and place you hands on his face. "You couldn't have protected me Obi. You were worlds away trying to survive yourself," You tell him. "I'm the one who should be sorry. Sorry I couldn't stay alive, that I couldn't fight harder,"
"Darling, no," Obi-Wan shakes his head. "When I saw you on the ground..."
"I wish it wasn't you," You admit, reluctantly leaning away from him. "I wish it had been anybody else and I'm sorry you have to relive that," You say, knowing that memory haunts him.
"Remember that night when we dreamed of running away together?" He asks. You instantly smile.
Years ago, back when the two of you were knights, you both had a fleeting moment. A moment where you wanted to forsake everything to be together. It ended up being a silly dream. You both knew neither of you would go through with it.
"Thinking of what could have been?" You ask. His eyes look down and he slowly nods. "You'll drive yourself mad, my love," You tell him.
"I'm living in isolation on Tatooine. Going mad is inevitable," He jokes looking back at you.
"You can remember me, sweetheart, but please do not loose yourself in the 'what ifs'," You plead with him. His gaze softens. "Please," You add with a cute and innocent look. He smiles at you.
"Have I ever been able to say no to you?" He asks. You smirk and wink at him. "I love you," Obi-Wan whispers.
"Now you tell me," You laugh sadly. Your fingers lightly brush along his beard. "I love you too," You whisper back. You lean forward and press a gentle kiss on his lips. You know it barely feels like anything which only saddens the both of you but at the same time there's peace in the kiss. "I'll always be with you," You promise fading into nothing.

As the years pass you sporadically visit Jeana and Obi-Wan. You never wanted to leave either of them but your energy isn't infinite. Every now and then you haunt your brother. You choose your moments carefully in order to help the rebellion.
It's only after the Emperor dies that you're able to be with both Obi-Wan and Anakin. When Obi-Wan had died you had little energy to materialize and he continued to put his focus's on your nephew, Luke.
But with Palpatine gone, Obi-Wan returned to you. He returned to you how you remembered him when you were alive. He was young with the thick beard you loved so much. The instant you saw him the both of you ran into each other's arms and shared a force shattering kiss.
"I'm never letting you go," Obi-Wan whispers to you.
"Good," You whisper back, nuzzling into his neck. He clings to you with all his might. For the first time in decades you feel complete. "I love you so much," He laugh gleefully and kisses your head.
"And I love you, darling," He whispers back.
When the two of you manage to part, you see Anakin. He had been reuniting with Padme but looked at you when you turned to him. His eyes were filled with so much sorrow and you knew that your brother was truly back.
"I didn't mean to kill you. Honestly, I didn't... I didn't want that," Anakin chokes up a bit.
"I know, Ani, I know," You pull him into a hug. "You were always a trouble child," You joke and he laughs, holding you tightly. "But it's ok now," You promise. "It's all alright. We're all together again,"
Every now and then Obi-Wan would return to the mortal world to aid Luke. The longer you're dead the harder it is to return to real life. You had been gone the longest and it felt nearly impossible to return but you managed to do so. You didn't want to leave completely until you knew that Jeana was alright.
She eventually joined the Rebellion but decided against continuing her jedi training. She gave pointers to Luke when he returned from visiting Yoda but made sure he knew she wasn't a master and she didn't want to go back down that path again. He understood.
She made it through the height of the war before coming across a Mandalorian. After spending some time doing some innocent spying you finally got what you were hoping for. Jeana happy and in love with life again.
You knew her and the Mandalorian would look after each other. You knew she had learned everything you had to teach her. Thus you said goodbye for a final time before giving yourself completely to your love, Obi-Wan.

You were a known workaholic. Things only became worse when you took command over all the fighter squadrons leaving Black to Poe. The paperwork increased, the amount of people you had control over increased, and your list of duties seemed to be never ending.
There were times when you only saw Poe at night and even than one of you, usually Poe, was already asleep. You couldn’t remember the last time you had a full night’s rest. Things between the First Order, the Republic, and the Resistance were more strained than ever. All-out war was just over the horizon. Some believed the war was already happening, it just wasn’t official as of yet.
After nearly four months of running yourself ragged Nima has finally had enough. You were at the desk in your office when she comes in. You had just stopped coughing and was in the middle of wiping your forehead when she stops in front of you.
“I missed our lunch,” You realize, leaning back against the chair. You sigh heavily and rub your eyebrows.
“You need a break,” Nima states, the blue Twi’lek crossing her arms.
“My break was... 45 minutes ago,” You claim after checking the clock. “And I slept right through it which is why I didn’t meet you at lunch... I’m sorry about that by the way. Reschedule *yawn* Reschedule for tomorrow?” You ask but she continues to stare you down. “Did I miss something else?”
“I’m going to give you two choices,” she says holding up two fingers. “Option one is you go to your bunk peacefully and without resistance. You take a nice hot shower and get some sleep. When you wake up, you’re going to get something to eat and relax. All of this will take at least 36 hours. I wish you’d take 48 but I know 36 is pushing it already,”
“And let me guess, option two is you force me to do all of that?” You assume.
“More or less,” She shrugs.
“Nima, you’ve never been able to force me to do anything,” you say, leaning over your desk. “Thank you for your concern but I’ll get some sleep later. Colonel wants these reports in a few hours, and I need to finish them,”
“As if the Colonel gets any of his work done on time,” She scoffs. “You work harder than he has his entire life. You can afford to take a couple hours off,” She states.
“Not if I plan on replacing him,” you said smirking.
“Oh, you’ll have him replaced before the end of the year,” she says with the utmost confidence. You smile warmly at her. “Take the break so you’re healthy enough when you get the promotion,”
“How about I swear to you I’ll get at least 7 hours of sleep when I turn in?” You bargain holding back a cough. You’re unsuccessful. Your coughing fit only solidifies Nima’s determination.
“You know your two choices... So, what will it be?” She asks.
“Don’t you have work to do?” You ask, looking down at your reports.
“Just remember... I was the nice one,” she says before leaving.
“Nice one?” You mutter pinching your eyebrows.
“In this instance, yeah,” Poe says from the doorway. He’s leaning against the frame in his jumpsuit.
“You’re back,” You light up. His smile is warm, and you ignore the concern in his eyes. You didn’t understand everyone’s concern. You had everything handled.
You stand from your seat and greet him in the middle of the room. Your body nearly sags when he pulls you into his arms. His hold tightens while his head nuzzles into your neck.
“How’re you feelin’ baby?” he whispers quietly.
“Better,” You whispers, sniffling. He laughs a bit and pulls away.
“Yeah, sounds like it,” He playfully snarks. You ignore the comment.
“When did you get back? You aren’t due back until...”
“Until today,” Poe says. “Sweetheart it’s been four days since I left. Thought you woulda missed me more,” He teases.
“Four days?” You whisper. He nods taking you in. He notices the bags under your eyes, how your skin tone is slightly off, and your eyes are bloodshot.
“You’re coming with me and we’re both going to relax for a little bit... Alright?” He whispers.
“Poe,” You sigh, clutching his jumpsuit. You didn’t want to leave him. You wanted to be with him, but you also had work finished.
“Baby, you’re either walking with me to bed or I’m carrying you over my shoulder,” Poe declares. “Please let me carry you over my shoulder. Nothing will make me happier,” He declares dramatically. You laugh resting your head on his shoulder.
“I guess a nap wouldn’t hurt,” You whisper. You said the next words without even thinking. “I love you,” His response wasn’t really what you thought it would be.
“No,” Poe states. It was a little bit of a whine, and you couldn’t help but to be confused. You lifted your head and saw the pout on his lips. “You don’t love me, take that back,” he says seriously.
“What? No,” You shake your head. “I love you, Poe Dam-” He covers your mouth.
“You never said that, and you won’t say it until after tomorrow, alright? Good, I’m glad we agree,” He winks and drops his hand.
“What’s wrong with me loving you?” You ask, rubbing his chest. He pouts sheepsihly.
“I wanted to say it first,” He mumbles quietly. A small smile comes to your lips. “I had it planned... Tomorrow is our nine-month anniversary, and I was going to make you take off work and have a picnic in the woods away from base so you could have some peace with your freaky witchy magic,” he says making silly gestures around his head. Your grin widens. “I was going to woo the shit out of you, tell you how much I love you, and then maybe have some risky forest sex if you would let me,” he says winking at you. By the time he’s finished not only are you smiling but you’re teary eyed as well. “Oh shit, did I fuck up again?” He asks becoming nervous.
“No. No, baby, you didn’t,” you say cupping his cheeks. “I love you so much,” You whisper kissing his lips.
“You know *kiss* I thought pouring my heart out *kiss* to you would get you *kiss* to do what I asked,” Poe mumbles against your lips.
“When do I ever listen to you?” You ask him. “I love you and I said it first Fly Boy,” You tease kissing him again.
“You’re insufferable,” Poe mutters gripping your hips.
“How about I make it up to you?” You whisper. “With some hot naughty office sex?” You whisper suggestively. Poe groans lowly.
“I hate when you say shit like that,” He groan rubbing himself against you. “When I obviously can’t take you up on it,” He grumbles into your neck.
“Who says you can’t take me up on it, darling?” You ask, running your fingers through his hair. He nips at your neck.
“The bags under your eyes and the scratchiness in your throat,” Poe mutters, pulling away from you. “You need rest... But when you’re feeling better, I’m going to break this desk with you,”
