When I heard that during NYbN yesterday I laughed, mostly because of Isaac’s confused reaction. But today it hit me that Annabelle was talking about the Valley Coterie too… and I cried.
I love them, and I miss them, and their ending broke me. That wonderful family of Kindred scattered and never coming back. Victor and Nelli are busy with their own domains. Jasper has retreated into his labyrinth and wants nothing to do with anyone again. Annabelle’s run all the way across the country. X is in torpor and may never awaken. Eva…
It’s just all hitting me again.
I don't know how to explain this, but:
LA by Night is terribly purple.
NY by Night is shockingly bright orange.
And I stand by that.
