Hi everyone. This last render was made in Cinema 4D with physical render and with the help of a very funny and talented guy, Nick Campbell. If you’re looking to improve your skills in working with materials, light, texture, basically everything you need to make your renders look even better, you should take a look at his tutorials.
To make this render I had to install X Particles plugin to accomplish the abstract shape. After creating that model using two modifiers, turbulence and rotate, I added the skinner and adjusted the size of the particles.
Unfortunately, I had a small set back at this point, the shape wouldn’t show when a tried to render a final image. Tried to see if it was the emission birthrate and even baked the X particles. However nothing worked, until I managed to transform the particles into an editable object. After fixing that I just had fun playing with the materials, adding new elements based on my inspirations, organising the composition…
It was a blast and managed to improve the final render so much! Really happy with the result, can’t wait to get back to it. :)
If you have any questions or tips to improve it please don’t hesitate to leave a comment.
